It's hard to think of a *less* populist bill than the GOP health care bill. The bank bailouts qualify, I suppose.
Trump is sort of McConnell’s dupe here. This is not what Trump ran on and the impacts will hit Trump's base hard.

Paul Ryan wants to go back to "individual rated" (pre-ACA) instead of "community-rated" which is currently how ACA is structured.

Which is to say he wants to go back to a worse system. The ACA is an improvement over the the previous system but hardly a vast improvement.

There isn't a partisan election in Kentucky. The constituents either vote R or don't vote.

Maybe that's true for Kentucky, but it's definitely not true in every state with a Senator supporting the bill. Why aren't they afraid?
