Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Luke Shaw and Henrikh Mkhitaryan will both remain unavailable for Manchester United’s clash against West Brom.
They meet at The Hawthorns on Saturday evening and following victories over Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace, will head into the draw in great form.
Shaw has continuously struggled with injuries while Mkhitaryan has only recently been left on the sidelines after he was forced off the pitch against Tottenham following a challenge from Danny Rose.
Speaking in his press conference prior to the game, the Portuguese boss ruled the pair out.

They’re both vital players to the squad, and Mkhitarayn in recent times has showcased exactly whe he’s such an important player under Jose Mourinho.
He’s been incredible since his return to the first-team, contributing two goals and two assists in four games, also picking up three Man of the Match awards in the process.
On the other hand, Shaw has left a big gap at left-back and although Mourinho has tried hard to replace him with others, he just hasn’t been able to fill the Englishman’s shoes.
Hopes are we’ll see them back in action soon as they’ll undoubtedly improve our United squad.
