Has anyone else come across this yet? I realise the game is supposed to be set in Ye Olde Fantasy Land where sexism is ~bound to be rife~, but it is utterly fucking pointless in reality and lowers my opinion of the game. There is no excuse Bethesda. No excuse.
Here's an example of a quest I recently completed, with my jaw dropped the whole time.
In the town of Riften, Woman A states that she dislikes Woman B because she has slept with three men within the last month. She wants to embarrass/shame her out of this behaviour as it bothers her. So, she sends you on a quest to contact these 3 men Woman B slept with. She wants you to get an item back that each received after sleeping with Woman B. She then wants you to confront Woman B with these items as 'proof' of her 'promiscuity'.
The results?
All of them men involved are ashamed of having slept with Woman B.
Woman B acts very ashamed of herself when spoken to and begs you not to tell anyone as she believes that her actions and involvement with worshipping Dibella (Goddess of Beauty & Love) will get her chased out of town.
Woman A is very pleased with the results and is sure that Woman B will now stop her antics.
