Product Manager

Tokyo, Japan
Responsibilities
  • Participate in product (website and device applications) roadmap prioritization.
  • Managing cross-functional teams to launching new site features and promotions.
  • Analyzing current user base, defining customer segments and tracking their behavior.
  • Coordinate product promotions with marketing partners (OEM, Websites, etc)
  • Reports to the Head of Product Management
Qualifications
  • 4-8 years of product management for a consumer facing website or software product.
  • Experience in or passion for interaction design.
  • An analytical mind, with a special passion for quantitative and financial analysis.
  • Effective communication skills.
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Business level English is a must.

Distribution Partner Manager

Tokyo, Japan
Responsibilities
  • Drive and support business development efforts to distribute the service of Hulu through various platforms and devices.
  • Prioritize and develop strategic affiliate relationships working with the customer acquisition team.
  • Own and manage a set of partner relationships to maximize the value of those partnerships for both Hulu and the partners.
  • Develop and enhance the partner management strategy, processes, and tools.
  • Conduct regular coordination meetings to ensure technical, promotional, and programming alignment between Hulu and the partners.
  • Provide key requirements to our technical teams to continually increase the value to partners of the reporting and analytical capabilities of our platform.
  • Conduct reporting and data analysis to analyze partner performance.
  • Assist with the identification and development of new distribution partner relationships to expand the outlets by which consumers can find and enjoy Hulu content.
  • Reports to Head of Content and Distribution
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relationship management experience (ideally in online media or technology), or similar business development experience.
  • Experience working with and navigating within large companies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests concurrently.
  • Ability to solve problems and bring timely resolution to issues.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Business level English is a must.

Online Marketing (Customer Acquisition) Manager

Tokyo, Japan
This analytical & detail-oriented role calls for an entrepreneurial self-starter who is adept at online marketing, especially SEO, SEM and affiliate marketing. Experience with online product promotions is necessary. In this role you will create and manage digital marketing campaigns in support of subscriber acquisition efforts, and fine-tune them based on your measuring of their effectiveness. You will be responsible for managing multiple promotions simultaneously and ensuring their successful performance. A fundamental understanding of online subscription business key metrics is necessary.
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., business development, product, design) and marketing partners to define, implement, and manage online marketing promotions, especially focused on SEO, SEM and affiliate marketing.
  • Track and optimize performance of multiple promotions on a regular, ongoing basis
  • Merchandise promotions via social media, email marketing, and other channels
  • Manage creation of creative assets and copy writing for promotions
  • Reports to Head of Marketing and Customer Acquisition
Qualifications
  • 4+ years relevant experience in online marketing
  • Very strong critical thinking, analytical, and multi-tasking skills
  • Experience with online and email marketing necessary; offline marketing a plus
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree required (preferably in marketing or finance); MS/MBA a plus
  • Business level English is required.
