I can't send internationally, so am looking about £200 plus postage. JD chemist has them on his website for $350 though.

I know this is an old thread, but can anyone recommend safe storage for one of these plutonium slugs?
I know alpha is how they predominantly decay so don’t lick it, eat it, smash and inhale it…but do I need to take any special precautions for the gamma?

No, the gamma is barely undetectable at a distance of 10cm, and is mostly 60keV and 20keV Am gammas and x rays. They're about as spicy as a typical Am based smoke detector
