I haven't been very productive lately. I have so many WIP drawings on my Cintiq that it isn't even funny, but whenever I've grabbed the pen to actually draw something, I've lost all sense of creativity to draw anything new and I've just ended up watching YouTube videos or playing Overwatch again (because, you know, I need my daily dose of salt).

To be honest, I have even sketched out some comic pages quite a long time ago, to tell a short story of Vermilion's life with Solis. The idea is to tell a little story, maybe 10 pages, of what it is like for a regular person like Vermilion, to live a life in a relationship with a modest celebrity like Solis. This naturally means that Vermilion is reluctantly "forced" to play a certain role whenever in public with Solis, to maintain a certain image of the two, just for the sake of Solis's career as a successful singer. And this in turn will result in unpleasant effects between the two, which they'd have to work out.

It's just an idea, but I've always hated the idea of having your own characters and then... Never actually doing anything with them.
And I've always told people, that for an artist who likes drawing and who wants to tell a story, drawing a comic is the best way to deliver that story. It is time consuming, yes, but ultimately it is the best form of media to present your characters to an audience, in the way you want those characters to be seen and recognized as.

Even if I don't end up doing an actual comic, seeing what a lazy ass I am, I might end up posting the raw sketches of the pages.
We'll see.

Me: The themes of your artwork tend to be quite repetitive. Try drawing a different theme and see if you like it!

It's the fact, that I haven't drawn traditionally in ages, and that I've genuinely become so bad at it, that I can't even ink properly anymore, with a proper calligraphy/G-pen.
I don't even know how to color and shade with copic markers anymore, which is a shame.... I spent hundreds of euros on those things back in the day. Now they just dry away in my storage room.

I used to love sketching on paper a lot, but now it's come to a point, that I even do the Ctrl+Z, i.e. Undo motion with my left hand when I want to erase something. To me, this is a problem that makes me feel embarrassed.

I've become less and less active in the past few years when it comes to drawing. Heck, I've become much lazier overall.
But I can see myself wanting to put more effort into even the smallest "pass time" drawings lately. I think it's pretty obvious, if we compare my first picture of Vermilion, with the latest image of her that I'm currently working on, whenever I feel like drawing a little bit.
I think this is simply because I feel more motivated and/or inspired to try work a bit more on a drawing, after seeing the artwork of some of the online artists that I follow on FA and Twitter.
Also, looking at catalog model photographs of various dresses and other clothes and clothing accessories, kinda makes me want to draw my own characters with those clothes too... And I'm god awful when it comes to "designing" clothing of any kind.

And the fact that more and more people contact me about commissions, despite what my userpage "disclaimer" says, kinda makes me happy. It's really nice to find that some people genuinely like my drawings, even if they aren't anywhere close to being the "creme de la creme", so to speak.

When it comes to traditional drawing, I really want to get back into it again. But I'm afraid that I'd just end up buying new pens to replace the few dried up ones for nothing, as I'd suddenly just become lazy and not draw anything regardless. lol

Recently I've been getting more and more notes regarding commissions, which I find odd, since I'm not even that active.
While I do appreciate your interest, I have told most people that I don't take commissions as I cannot promise a date of delivery... I am simply way too busy and most of the stuff I post here and on my Twitter, are stuff I doodle for myself, for my own amusement.
Yet, despite this, people have still been interested and are willing to wait until I can actually accept commissions.

However, if you are looking for someone to commission and to receive art relatively quickly from, then I suggest you have a look at these dweebs:

 twis is my fiance and she's open for commissions. By commissioning her, you are supporting our household and her endless desire to buy chocolate (because that's what all ladies want, right?)

 muramuri is a an old friend, that currently lives in Japan. Due to traveling and the FA downtime, she hasn't been able to accept commissions during June and because of this, she could really use some customers at the moment.
