Dear Office of Student Conduct,
I am writing to formally report serious allegations concerning Aisling Skeet, a 21-year-old student currently enrolled in the Psychology program at South College, Durham University. It has come to my attention that Aisling Skeet may be engaging in activities that constitute criminal offenses under United Kingdom law, specifically regarding the facilitation of access to prescription-only medicines for minors.
The allegations indicate that Aisling Skeet is actively assisting individuals under the age of 18 in sourcing and locating "DIY HRT" (Hormone Replacement Therapy) resources on the internet. While personal possession of such medications may occupy a legal grey area for the user, the act of facilitating, aiding, or abetting minors in obtaining prescription-only medicines (POM) without a valid prescription from a registered medical practitioner is a serious safeguarding concern. Under the Human Medicines Regulations 2012, the sale or supply of POMs is strictly regulated, and assisting minors in bypassing these regulations to access unregulated medical treatments poses significant health risks, including improper dosing and lack of necessary medical monitoring.
As a member of the community, I am deeply concerned about the welfare of the minors potentially being guided by Aisling Skeet. The encouragement of unregulated medical procurement for those under 18 contradicts current NHS guidelines and recent government restrictions regarding gender-affirming hormones for young people. Given that Aisling Skeet is a student at your institution, I believe it is imperative that the university investigates these allegations immediately to ensure the safety of the wider community and to uphold the legal and ethical standards expected of your students.
I request that South College and Durham University initiate an internal investigation into these matters. Please treat this matter with the utmost urgency and confidentiality.
