Bredbo Public School is one of a number of schools that belong to the Monaro Small Schools Network and the Monaro Education Group. These initiatives provides collegial professional learning, sharing of resources and enriching learning opportunities for students. The commitment to provide a culture of 'thinking' at our school is reflected in all areas of classroom practice and school policy. Students are encouraged to be considerate, courteous and responsible through a comprehensive peer leadership program and by following the principles of the Fish Philosophy.

Maintenance
To ensure the safety, reliability and longevity of our schools, every school across NSW receives maintenance. The Department undertakes preventative and routine maintenance every year, and repairs as needed. The Department also reviews the planned maintenance program for each school every year and reviews those items that are predicted to require work to help prolong the life of the school buildings and facilities.
