Israel actively supporting the Hamas, in hope that the Hamas would overthrow the PLO, but not gain enough popularity amongst the Palestinians.

Did you actually read the article? What‘s so evil about allowing money earmarked for humanitarian purposes to enter Gaza and issue work permits for Gazans? Should Israel have just… denied work permits and not allowed any money into the strip?

Dude it's a "Times of Israel" article, it's obviously Israeli propaganda...also it states: "Meanwhile, Israel has allowed suitcases holding millions in Qatari cash to enter Gaza through its crossings since 2018, in order to maintain its fragile ceasefire with the Hamas rulers of the Strip." and: "The concept of indirectly strengthening Hamas — while tolerating sporadic attacks and minor military operations every few years — went up in smoke Saturday." The motive seems clear, allow aid to strengthen Hamas, I don't believe the Israeli governement could care a second for Palestinian civilians, always following a strategic goal

So your contention is that Israel allowed Qatar to fund the Gazan administration and then issue work permits to Gazans because… they didn‘t do it out of the kindness of their hearts? Are you arguing that Israel should have not allowed any humanitarian funding in and not allowed Gazans to work in Israel? Are at least you willing
to answer the counterfactual?

Yes basically, do you think newspapers are magically neutral and don't have their interests? Do you just believe everything you hear and read? Everything underlies some sort of ideology.

No I'm obviously didn't want to say Israel shouldn't allow aid? I say and they say, they did it to strengthen Hamas instead of the PLO which they thought would becomme united with the Westbank. The PLO is far better ideology wise than islamist Hamas
