Is that TRUE Mye, they only chose you because you're pretty? Well, they also liked your wings! (FYI, that is not the reason they chose her, but I'm sure some of you clever folks are figuring it out. There are definitely lots of hints.) Hexavier of course is the only person before Tony to know about “Queen of the Orycalopes Mye”, which he WAS going to help her out with a little but he's been rather distracted lately.

The only reason she's considering telling Zeno now is because she's got possibly “good news” with the Snathe (pending her conversation with Zerlocke of course) so she's hinging this on being the salve to the wound of “keeping it secret” about Orycalopes. We know the guy is super insecure and the Orycalopes are a possible landmine of hurt feelings.

I'm always interested in hearing theories about what's going on. :)

This page took so long thanks to personal life things blowing up! Send good vibes to my cat Phobos, he's recovering slowly thanks to getting medicated (my orange friend is SO TALENTED at spitting out arthritis pills!) but for a while I was having to feed him with a syringe. He's also on kidney meds :( My love and drugs are keeping him alive!!!

Of course and because I'm feeling highly motivated to work on the next page, my arm hurts like hell.

Doing a (somewhat) quick skim of the archive, hmm... Between #530 and #613 there's "Enchanting Creature." Wait, going further back, starting from #200 Magical Misunderstanding. "Crescent" potion. Hmm... Further up starting from page "Bunnies!" In "Inner Conflict," Vic's kiss reverts her bunny form. He also did not turn into a werewolf before, werewolves are also related to the moon. Hmm... I almost scrapped the Vic thought after "Shattered" until I got to "Kiss the Curse away." So Zeno's kiss only works when he's in his Scythe form... HMM. Or maybe it matters Mye gets kissed instead of her kissing others, kinda doubting that, though. Then I got distracted and kept reading for fun up to "Trouble Wits der Dames," oops. Back to the point, Mye's predicament seems to be vaguely moon related? I gotta reread the pages with the Orycalope girls. My theory brain will have to run this all over again another day!

She got kissed while crying, tears are important magical components she was missing. Very fairy tale inspired where crying on someone or kissing them breaks a curse or death-like sleep.)

I'm future-ruing the day the bag explodes between Tony and Mye (and Zeno!), but they're both pretty mature people so maybe it'll work out well enough?? @o@ (Maybe not so much with Zeno, though!!)
