>>744253652Yeah I fucking loved the CD that came with AoK+AoC and also the AoE1 + expansion. (I hate AoE1 tho) Best purchase of my fucking life. Turned out to be my favourite game of all time and made real life friends from it too, turned out a guy I met on Voobly was a 15 minute train ride away. I have 3k hours over all the versions.
I only took interest in it because my dad bought me the turn based DS version first, which is fun in its own right.
Sadly I don't know where it is anymore and the box was dying anyway.
AoE2 mods for the old version were so fucking kino, the Chivalry and LoTR total overhauls were absolutely amazing, and the silly small mods that you played a couple times with the community like zombie defense, t-rex defense, there was a weird vampire mod, there was weird shit coming out all the time. Even made a couple mods myself for HD and DE.
