Oh, this is not a culture war thing. Sony literally took a bunch of movies off of people's ps5s. Like you connected to the internet and it removed them from your console's ssd.
I mean, this is why many of us collect physical media.
I get the whole Sony gonna stop making physical discs for games argument, but I still have plenty of discs to enjoy for now.
So you know, Sony (I believe playstation to be precise) removed movies people BOUGHT (not "rented" or "lended") and then sony says no more discs and now they also are having issues with their server so people can't even access the stuff they bought online.
ON TOP OF THAT, during Helldivers 2, they made changes to their rules for creating playstation accounts and like 70% of the countries can't create an account (not sure if they loosen up this already).
This is baffling coming from Sony after mocking Xbox for attempting to do something similar before
the whole, I bought it but I don't own it, trend needs to go away. its not just Sony. car makers and even motorcycle makers are starting to do it. if Sony stole things that he paid for, he has a legitimate grievance, in my opinion. this is not the same as a grumpy old man who hates Sony because an abstract culture war told him to. its a real life thing.
