- Strong partnerships matter in an uncertain world. Pleased to meet Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani to discuss our shared commitment to regional stability & freedom of navigation. I reaffirmed our commitment to the security of Bahrain, one of our most enduring partners.
- The wildfires in Europe remind us that the climate crisis is happening now. It knows no borders and impacts us all. The UK, France and Spain are committed to the Paris Agreement. We will continue working together to build resilience and tackle climate change.
- I am horrified by the scenes in Ukraine after overnight Russian strikes killed at least 8 people, including children. My thoughts are with the victims' families and the whole of Ukraine. The UK also stands with Poland and Romania after multiple violations of NATO airspace.
