I don't believe this user is organic. I believe this account uses LLMs to farm karma and then to covertly advertise a paid software product.

This account makes heavy use of ChatGPT/Claude/another AI to automatically leave many comments across various subreddits. The account is run by a human and occasionally has human-written comments. But it has a large volume of AI bot comments.

What level would A.I have to reach to be able to automate all labor ? by Inevitable_Bid5540 in AskEconomics

This is not an economics question. But the capacity to "automate all labour" is often the threshold people use to define when AI becomes AGI, or artificial general intelligence. That's just a matter of definitions. When or if AGI will ever become possible is a separate question.

Whether central planning would be viable with AGI is another separate question. I don't think there is any real way to know this without having anything close to AGI in the world right now. So, this is fully in the realm of science fiction and futurist speculation.

In the United States, why aren’t economists in charge of running the country, and instead we vote for a president? If economists were in charge, would all the financial crises in U.S. history still have happened ? by Square_Permission361 in AskEconomics

Since 1946, U.S. presidents have been advised by the Council of Economic Advisers: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Council_of_Economic_Advisers

For many decades, economists have had a strong influence on U.S. federal policy and the administration of the U.S. federal government.
