What's new

Changelog

Anvil-MC ships regular updates with new features and fixes.

v1.8.1Latest
  • Added a Java startup cache that's generated in the background after install, so launching a server skips work it used to redo every single time, shaving off ~5 to 10 seconds per start up.
  • Startup failures caused by hitting memory limits now tell you exactly which limit and what to change, instead of a generic 'out of memory.'
  • If your phone gets critically low on memory, the app now flushes your world to disk first.
  • Better tuning for phones with mixed fast/slow cores, so heavy server load doesn't get stuck fighting for the wrong CPU cores.
  • The console now logs a message when your device is throttling from heat, so a sudden slowdown makes sense.
  • Servers on Minecraft 1.21.6+ now greet the first player with an in-game dialog instead of chat messages.
v1.7.8
  • Both Vanilla and Neoforge now support auto-setup for the guided server setup option. Easily select your version via the UI-interface without having to source the JAR file externally.
  • When you open your server settings, you will now see a prompt when your server version is outdated, allowing you to upgrade your version to the latest with a single tab of a button.
  • Search for specific strings in configuration files using the new text search when editing a file.
  • Updated Geyser to now support the latest Minecraft versions.
  • Improved the onboarding flow and UI-elements.
  • To remind Premium users that they can claim a custom subdomain, we now display a popover on app start to allow users to easily claim their custom domain without having to go to the profile tab.
v1.7.7
  • Added Player Management with filtering for active players, historical player base, whitelisted users, administrators, and bans. Track world stats, adjust permissions and execute quick actions.
  • Added in-app world map.
  • Improved hardware statistics.
  • Various crash and bug fixes.
