Sunlover Reef Cruises is one of the best ways to experience some of the highlights of Cairns from the water all in one day. Their full day Reef and Island tour combines the Great Barrier Reef with a visit to Fitzroy Island, making it perfect if you’re short on time but still want to experience both the reef and tropical islands. The first stop on the tour is Moore Reef, which takes around 1.5 hours to reach by boat from Cairns. Here, the boat docks at Sunlover’s custom floating pontoon right in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef, surrounded by coral gardens and marine life. You’ll have around 2.5 hours here to explore however you like. You can snorkel straight off the pontoon amongst the coral and fish, or if you’d prefer to stay dry, there’s also a semi-submersible boat tour, glass-bottom boat, and underwater observatory included. They also offer a range of optional add ons including guided snorkel safaris with marine biologists, Seawalker helmet dives, beginner scuba diving experiences, and scenic helicopter flights over the reef. After Moore Reef, the tour continues to Fitzroy Island where you’ll enjoy a buffet style lunch before having around 1.5 hours of free time to explore. This gives you enough time to walk over to the famous Nudey Beach, relax on the white sand, or go for another swim in the crystal clear water. Fitzroy Island is one of our favourite islands off the coast of Australia and definitely a highlight of the day. The full day Reef and Island tour starts from around $337 per person. Schwabacher Landing was one of my favorite viewpoints in Grand Teton National Park! Personally, I think the best time to go is sunrise because when the sun hits the mountains and it reflects off of the water, it looks MAGICAL! It's a popular spot, but not so popular that it was overcrowded - the video attached is for sunrise in August, one of their busiest months of the year.

Jakriborg is a unique and charming neighborhood located outside Malmö known for its picturesque architecture that resembles a medieval hansa town. It was developed in the late 1990s and early 2000s, designed to evoke a sense of history while incorporating modern living. The streets are lined with colorful houses, cobblestone paths, and cozy squares, giving it a fairy-tale vibe. In December the Christmas market is held in the town and is a much appreciated happening. Jakriborg is also very close to the town Lomma known for its beaches.

Just a short drive along the coast, you'll find the famous Tárcoles River bridge, a must-see stop for one of the most impressive wildlife spectacles in the country. In the past the only two wasy you could see crocodiles was from the bridge itself or buying a boat tour but now, there is this new atraction that is a really great option for wildlife seekers, This new place is right at the begining ogf the bridge and you can park you car safely on the private parcking lot wich is also free! For many visitors, this is a great way to have a small brake and stop for a bit after long driving trip to the next destination. The place itself offers good toilets, souvenir and restaurants. Once you walk towards the place where you see the crocs you can look straight down on dozens of massive American crocodiles lounging on the muddy banks below. It's an easy and thrilling stop to break up your journey, offering an unforgettable photo opportunity with some of Costa Rica's most prehistoric residents. My recomendation: Please do you a favor and stop here as a break and get a nice ice cream, that would refresh you so much haha!

Get ready for a truly memorable hike along the old "Postman's Trail," the historic path that once connected the secluded village of Gásadalur to the outside world. This challenging but rewarding trek offers some of the most breathtaking views in the Faroe Islands. You'll be treated to dramatic coastal cliffs, the iconic Múlafossur waterfall cascading into the ocean, and stunning panoramas of Tindhólmur and Mykines islands. The path is steep and rugged in places, particularly on the descent into Gásadalur, so be prepared for a good workout. The trailhead is easily found at a small car park just before the tunnel entrance from the village of Bøur. Round trip 7 km.

This panoramic hike links the Cry d’Er summit (2,220 m) to the Cabane des Violettes (2,208 m), providing a breathtaking easy ridge walk above Crans-Montana. Starting from the top of the Crans–Cry d’Er gondola, a gentle 2.3 km trail descends across alpine meadows with constant views of the Pennine Alps – you’ll see the Matterhorn and Dent Blanche on one side and the Plaine Morte Glacier on the other. The route, often called Sentier Panorama 4000, is well-marked and takes about 45–60 minutes one-way. It ends at Cabane des Violettes, where you can reward yourself with lunch or continue on to the Rawyl Dam (another 1.5 hours down). Activity Level: Moderate – mostly downhill but with some rocky sections. It’s a mountain trail (sturdy shoes recommended) though not technical. Getting There: Take the Cry d’Er gondola from Crans (departures every 15 min) to the top station. From Violettes hut at the end, return via the Violettes gondola down to Barzettes, then free shuttle or bus back to Crans (5 minutes). Alternatively, hikers can loop back to Cry d’Er via a different path. Seasonality: Late June through October (when gondolas operate and trail is clear of snow). Avoid during thunderstorms. Practical Tips: Bring a windbreaker – the ridge can get windy. Along the way, interpretive signs point out famous summits. The hike is downhill overall (≈ -60 m), making it accessible for most; still, mind your footing on gravelly parts. Last lift down from Violettes is ~16:30 (check daily times).

Sky Lagoon is a fairly new spa in Reykjavik. Built next to the ocean the best time to visit is sunset and see the sun set into to ocean. Don't miss out on their amazing sauna. The changing rooms are separated by gender and do offer individual shower stalls with a door for privacy.
