I swear , every single indie animation project is surrounded by drama , and guess what after a month after some shit gets popular the creator always turns out to be an asshole , and they always take forever to come out , and they are also very VERY woke so that sucks , look for now I will keep supporting mainstream animation in hopes they crush these nerds dreams of surpassing the big companies because let's be real , indie animation is just terrible

It should really be called 'Internet Animation'.
"Indie Animation" is dishonest. Indie implies scuffed quality, unconventional story telling or subject matter and a unique point of view.
These internet pilots aren't low budget and certainly aren't unique. It really is just a different flavor of TV animation, as in it exists in a bubble of tropes and genres.
Shitpost humor? Check.
Eldritch horror? Check.
Artstyle is some kind of popular tumblr or newgrounds style? Check.

Just call it Internet Animation. It's TV Animation's brother.
Sure, every now and then you get something legitimately good and unique but most of it feels like the same crap all inspired from each other with no true outside influence.
