About This Content

For the first time ever, play Ticket to Ride: Japan Expansion in digital form! 

Join two new characters – travel blogger Nakanishi Kimiko and Gyōji Moriyama Isamu – as you explore the beautiful map of Japan, connecting cities and scoring points. 

Will you help to build the Bullet Train network across the country? Doing so will open up more routes for you – but also for your opponents! However, if you opt to stay out of the project, you’ll be giving up the chance to score bonus points…and you’ll be docked an eyewatering 20 points too! Decisions, decisions! 

To help you on your journey, you’ll also get the Ichi Eki Saki and Tsuki Sleeper train and carriage, along with the Isogaba Maware and Hayai Carriage.

One of the best expansions. The bullet train system is a very interesting addition to the game that makes completing tickets a lot easier. However, you might be helping your opponents out a little too much along the way. Provides some new things to think about during a Ticket to Ride game which is all you can really ask for. The subway system seems tacked on, but provides a good outlet to dump your excess personal trains.

Actually, the digital version of the Japan expansion doesn't replicate the board game. There is only the Tokyo subway route and not the other route.
