They lack social skills and they are really boring as a generation. They just have smartphones, Tiktok and video game streamers. They became boomerized. So yeah Gen Z is unapproachable.
(Apologies in advance for the long post and poor formatting)
Edit: I think some people misunderstood the intent of my post. It's not merely about romance and just includes talking to other people.
Before I delve into my story, let me talk about a famous Swedish soccer/football player, Zlatan Ibrahimovic(born 1981, so Millennial), and how he met his long-term partner (born 1970, so Gen X). They met when Ibrahimovic poorly parked his Ferrari, which blocked her Mercedes, but that altercation led to the start of their relationship. It seems interactions like this with Gen Z are much rarer than with previous generations.
(Edit: Someone pointed out Zlatan Ibrahimovic has made misogynistic comments. I totally distance myself from these comments.Apparently looking it up he denigrated women's soccer in comparison to men's soccer).
I am a 2005-born Gen Z at University(a rising Junior) in America. I am technically a second-generation immigrant(so born a US citizen), but in reality more of a first-generation one because I spent most of my life abroad(parents relocated back due to some problems). While I was cripplingly shy as a child, I think I am much more confident and could potentially be rated as an average to moderately good conversationalist. I would still say I am not great at making close friends, which is probably due to a lack of experience as a child. My foreign background may also be a contributing factor.
Older Americans are so much easier to talk to. I could be sitting on a plane, on the metro, and they will somehow manage to still spark an interesting conversation. The last example of this was a woman(of Guatemalan background) born in 1946 who talked about the various aspects of her life, family, and country on a plane trip. Another time I met a woman born in the 1950s on the Philadelphia metro, with both of us trying to get to the airport, and we also had an extended conversation. She was even kind enough to take me on an Uber ride when we missed our intended location by accident while talking. By contrast, I could be sitting next to the same Gen Z person at a dining hall or somewhere for a year, and they will not start a conversation(unless I start it). And they seem to have much less interest in keeping up with the conversation and will indicate their disinterest earlier. To be fair, I do realize my hobbies dont resonate much with most people of my generation(listening to ABBA, history, soccer, etc).
Edit: To give stronger examples of Gen Z Social Awkwardness/Plain Rudeness
Case A(taken from another person here):
I'm having issues in real life with Gen Z workers not even answering yes and no questions in a workplace. it's frustrating - and then they argue that they don't like small talk or strangers.
Yeah, but you still are being paid to do your job*.*
Case B(one I experienced):
At a university economics class, the teacher took attendance via paper(asked the students 3 questions whose answers they were supposed to write down). I came a bit late and asked a girl what the questions were 2 times, but she sat there still as a statue, ignoring me.
Case C(taken from another person here):
I took my 16-YO step daughter (her mother and I have been married for 11 years) out for lunch and started a conversation by asking a hypothetical question, some innocuous ‘what do you think’ question. Before she even started to answer she said, “why are you staring at me?” Because I was actively listening to hear what she had to say. I’m now always conscious of making too much eye contact.
I saw in some Reddit posts by professors and students that university students in the early 2000s(or even just pre-pandemic ones) were much more socially engaged in classroom discussions. I think it's common for many university students nowadays to never open their mouths in a classroom unless they are prompted to by the professors.
My observation is that Gen Z is probably much less into spontaneous public interactions. The book Bowling Alone has been discussing this decrease in socialization and social trust stretching back to the 1950s(due to the rise of suburbs, two-income households, and television), but it seems like Gen Z has felt the supercharged effects due to the rise of the internet and smartphones.
Gen Z is boring and anti partying and wants to look down on Gen A for wanting to party.
Gen Z is officially the new Boomers.
For one, they popularized a shitty haircut but that's irrelevant compared to the other reasons.
Two, it's easy for them to fall for right wing propaganda, which is why conservative influencers and conservative media target them. There is a rightward shift with some of these Gen z men. These are the types of Gen z men that believe that women should be obedient to their husbands (because how dare women be autonomous and have their own minds?)
Three, some of them stayed home during a very critical election. If they went out and voted for Harris, we may have had her as President. We have to live with this orange racist POS felon as sitting President because of Gen Z's idiocy and apathy. Now it's said that there will be a draft for the Iran War and men 18-25 will be selected. I hope these broccoli headed Tiktok addicted little punks will be ready for this if it happens.
I do not want to hear how "progressive" this generation is and their progressivism is performative otherwise they wouldn't have stayed home during the 2024 election.
I'm not saying you should hate Gen z but it's okay to not like them either. You're not wrong either way. Feel free to share your thoughts.
And yes, I still think Gen z culture sucks. They're boring AF.
I genuinely feel bad for Gen Beta and Gen Gamma. Those poor kids are going to grow up and spend their entire lives listening to Gen Z act like they’re the first generation in human history to ever experience a bad economy, difficult politics, or general hardship.
Every family dinner, every classroom, every online space, some 40 year old Zoomer is going to be there saying: “You don’t understand… we had it the worst. The 2020s were literal hell. Trump, inflation, pandemics, culture war… no other generation had it this bad 😤”
Meanwhile Gen Beta is just sitting there like “My childhood had AI companions, gene editing, and we’re living through the actual recovery. Can you shut the fuck up about 2026 already?”
It’s going to be exactly like how Boomers spent decades obsessing over Vietnam, Nixon, and the 70s. Gen Z is going to be terminally stuck in the 2010s and 2020s, treating Trump like their personal boogeyman figure and acting like the 2020s were the defining trauma of all mankind.
They’ll make documentaries, write books, make passive-aggressive Facebook posts in 2050 about “kids these days don’t know how hard they have it.the future is cooked for them.”
Younger generations are going to be so tired of hearing about it. Just like how Millennials got tired of Boomer Vietnam stories, Gen Beta is going to develop a pavlovian eye-roll response every time a Zoomer starts with “Well in the 2020s…”
Zoomers and Gen Beta have an inversion of Boomers and Millennials where Zoomers go around taking about how young people have it *harder* than them, while young people have to push back and say life is not bad and it's not the 2020s anymore.
Right now Gen Z loves playing the “we had it the worst” card. But fast forward 15 to 20 years and you’re going to see full grown Zoomers in their 40s and 50s going around telling Gen Beta kids: “You don’t understand how hard we had it back in the 2020s… the economy was cooked, politics was insane, social media was toxic, everything was awful 😩 and there's no way out. You kids have it so much harder.”
And Gen Beta is going to look at them like they’re insane and hit them with: “It’s not the 2020s anymore. We’re not living through peak clown world. Life is not that bad. Stop projecting your trauma onto us.”
It’s the perfect inversion of Boomers vs Millennials.
Boomers spent decades telling younger people “you have it so easy.”
Zoomers are going to spend decades telling younger people “you have it so hard.”
Gen Beta is going to be the ones rolling their eyes, just like Millennials did, saying “Can y’all shut the fuck up about your 2020s trauma already? We’re trying to live in the present.”
The same generation that called Boomers out of touch is going to become the most insufferable “back in my day it was apocalyptic and the world is still apocalyptic” generation in recent memory.
Saw a post on here about the rise of conservatism in gen z males. I had a few things to add, but my post was too long to be a comment haha. I want to specify that I don't have data to back this up off the top of my head, I'm more sharing this to see if other people see this situation similarly to me. I'm not posting this as some sort of intellectual flex or some bs like that. Genuinely I just want to see if people see the same patterns I see.
In my experience as gen z male, I've found that there are a very big mix of factors that have been causing a rise in conservatism. I think what the most major factor in causing this is that gen z men and women just have had very different upbringings.
My sister is not that much older than me, but she was raised in a world full of invisible rules against women that have been around for generations. Because of that I find gen z women to be smarter than gen z men on average. They have to learn how to play by really awful rules and make the best of it.
Gen z men (mainly applies to white suburban gen z men) were moreso raised in an environment of relative privilege and video games. Like I was definitely less social growing up cause I would try again and again and just be very bad at it until I got older. If a gen z man runs into an issue, he typically runs away from it instead of confronting it head on. Sure one might say that he's "on the grind" or on a "winter arc" at the gym, but ultimately they stay stubborn in there ways and keep having relatively the same issues over and over again because they were never raised in a world where they were encouraged to internalize other peoples perspectives.
Ironically, the patriarchal order geared towards men has actually worked against men, because very rich men have made the observation women are more reliable and that they can get away with underpaying them. The one statistic I really can say is that women out represent men in higher education for example. So basically you have women filling the hierarchy of jobs that require education because oligarchs running American Businesses see their value to there own profits more.
I find that because as men were taught that our stubbornness is okay we end up getting blocked from a lot of career opportunities. I'm not saying every gen z man is like this, but I know a lot of gen z men that are just kind of socially inept shut ins who live very dependent lifestyles.
I think the reason why dating was "easier" for previous generations is that the standards for respect were not as high and people were not chronically online back in the 70s, 80s, 90s, early 2000s etc. I think more men back then were pushed into social situations so they developed much healthier senses of empathy overall.
So if you're a woman looking to date, you probably don't want to go for the socially inept weird chronically online dude who blames other people for his problems and doesn't take care of himself. Because of that I think there are many gen z men feel resentful towards women and hold regressive beliefs because their pride is on the line.
I kind of felt cautious about posting this because I know I'm gonna get some "you're a self hating man" or "performative male" comments, and I gotta say. I don't read Jane Austen or Drink Matcha so I don't think I can be put in that category so easily.
My point is that I think if men in gen z developed empathy for women's experiences and saw women excelling as a reason to better themselves instead of put people down, we'd all be in a relatively better place.
I made a post abt gen z and the rise of misogynistic views on the rant sub, and I didn't expect so many men to switch the victim card. I was talking about how men want women to be pets; stay at home moms and not work, and then the men starting getting upset saying they had problems. And then when i asked them to give me specific examples, they couldn't give me any or gave a topic that was easily debatable. Finally when everyone started calling out these men (some men included too!), downvoting and commenting, they doubled down.
tsk tsk
What is it with zoomers and performative asceticism? No Shave Novemver began as a campaign to bring awareness of prostate cancer (very wholesome)...zoomers took it and turned it into No Nut November (ironically, frequent ejaculation can help reduce the risk of prostate cancer).
But even NNN is basic compared to the ascericism zoomers try now...rawdogging a flight (ie no food, water, or sleep during a long flight)...No Poop July, where you hold off deficating as long as possible in the month of July (extra hard mode combining with the Only Taco Bell July challenge)...
And all this not for enlightment or even as some protest against consumerism/materialism...but for online clout?
Expect memes to be made from Generation Alpha depicting Gen Z as old people such as "What I hear when a Zoomer complains about how difficult dating is 🧓".
Gen Alpha has the right to call Gen Z "grandma" because they see Zoomers as a generation that are 66 year olds inside the body of 22 year olds. They're grumpy, "burned out", always tired, likes to complain a lot, thinks holding extremely bigoted views makes them "based".
Generation Alpha will make posts saying "I went to high school with several Zoomer seniors. They were all bark and no bite." or "My older Gen Z siblings hated everything and everyone, including possibly me."
“Gen Z acted like 45 year old divorcees at age 17. Like why were you so tired??”
“My Zoomer brother told me I was ‘too optimistic.’ Sorry for not being clinically racist by 18?”
“They really thought doomposting was a personality.”
Gen Alpha at 14 ends up having the complete opposite views as Zoomers at their age, showing Gen Z really was the exception, not the rule.
Zoomers try to avoid accountability and feel self-righeous about any age gap in a relationships with "mUh FrOnTaL cOrTeXt Is NoT fUlLy FoRmEd BeFoRe AgE 25"...
Goes out in droves and votes Trump/MAGA as soon as they turn 18 and want voting age lowered still...

I love how the source of this is a Gen Z Tik Tokker...and even the article mentions how the okdest Gen Alpha is less than 14 years old...
Gen Z, you are adults and late teens (show your "mUh fUlLy DeVeLoPeD bRaIn" or apply the same to Gen Alpha), Gen Alpha are literal children.
I feel this is just an extension of zoomers' seething about Millennials, as Gen Alpha are mostly children of Millennials.
I’m very happy that I found this community, because I can’t stand the Zoomers and how everything they touch turns to shit.
Try explaining to a Zoomer how they are now being called the NEET generation (not in employment, education, or training) and how there is plenty of supporting data which shows plummeting employment, college graduation, and military enlistment rates for their age demographic. The worst is part is they will actually try to justify not doing ANYTHING in life, but not have any sort of alternative plan for their life or career path.
These aren’t children anymore mind you, the oldest Zoomers are now 30 goddamn years old, and they still act like super soft 12-year-olds with their constant crying and complaining and victim mentality.
They can’t even cooperate with the opposite gender for fucks sake, I mean, they are in a GENDER WAR!! Can you imagine such a thing? Being a grown man who is old enough to be drafted for a REAL war, and not being embarrassed to be a part of a generation that hates woman so much that they would push Trump back into office just because of their woman-hating ideals?
I could literally keep going, because they really are that pathetic of a generation, but I would love to hear why y’all hate the Zoomers.
i have no reason to talk about the guy but whenever i see flair 7 and that image trying to mock him and call him ugly, which is ironic, im both embarrassed how a mod killed this sub for a bit and the rule and image is just cringy, but also smirk remember that mod's genuine rage and madness seeing that gen z men were the ones who did not like the man while everyone else here did
Everyone there just brags about their life experiences about having moved out with their own house and had kids and paying taxes like that’s a “flex” on millennials who aren’t as fortunate. They’re constantly attacking millennials for being “infantile” or “childish/cringe”, I’m sitting over here like what does that have to do with us? Who cares how millennials live their life? I’m a neurodivergent zoomer who is having the same financial and social struggles as a lot of millennials. Our generation isn’t really that much “better” or more accomplished at anything. It’s just a few rich kids (kids of doctors and lawyers) that think they represent everybody. It’s not about nostalgia anymore, it’s about judging millennials. Millennials this, millennials that, who cares? Millennials aren’t even the ones harassing Gen Z at work, it’s the boomers and older Gen X. I can’t understand their beef with a generation that preaches about tolerance.
I shared some examples on the other sub and they said that it wasn’t “that bad”:
Is cringe culture becoming normalized again? I feel like I’m talking to a bunch of miniature boomers. Wtf is going on? What’s with the cruelty, apathy and elitism that the millennials worked so hard to eradicate from society?
I feel like I’m going crazy when I point out the hatefulness and overall weirdness of my generation.
A bunch of teens from all over, which includes Wasilla, Alaska, which is where they body slammed an employee, Red Lion, Pennsylvania, Germany, England and other places where teen, mainly teen boys, shocker, were throwing food, talking all throughout the movie, yelling, and had so many managers and employees pause the movie, mind you, a lot of the time they weren't 10 minutes in and yell at them, and then had the audacity to complain about being called out. if gen alpha did that, they will NEVER let that go and go on and on about how evil and awful gen alpha are and somehow find a way to blame millennials because "erm millennials actually created the interest and they taught gen z everything....so it's there fault"
And the way it's this movie only that they are this fucking insufferable with. There was a random fight at the FNAF movie but other than that. and ofc there's some pick me millennials going "You hating on them should've seen arcades in the 90s" and i saw one say "I'm 33 and still launched chocolate raisinettes in every movie on a rotation of a 17 min loop" you are a straight man ofc you are being a pick me to my gen for acting like savages for such a dog shit movie that they originally hated on because of the CGI and because a black woman was in it.
If anybody else acted like this, generation wise or movie wise, the internet would hate them. I mean people were lying at Taylor Swift fans acting bad other than that one video of that group of girls dancing in a circle. But we gotta protect straight teen gen z boys as always.
Anyone else encounter the pardoxical Zoomer aggression? Too "anxious" or order fast food or correct an order; but, seems ready to get into fights? Not too long ago, was driving on two-lane highway; dumo truck in right lane, 16- wheeler in left lane. I'm behind 16-wheeler, rice burner driven by 🥦 behind me. Apparently, thought the slower traffic was my fault, followed me off exit ramp, flipping me iff and yelling "come out! You know what you did, face me like a man!"
Just one if numerous stories I can tell if zoomers trying to pick fights over misplaced anger.
Hope these zoomers have this aggression when they get drafted for WWIII.
If it isn't a joke...
You're a cuck bootlicker for posting or liking it.
😇
That’s it. That’s the statement. So just know that when we remove posts or comments, it’s mainly either low brow crap or you’re preaching to the wrong community. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. Bye Felicia 👋 ✌️
This isn't about The UnitedHealthCare incident if that weirdo mod becomes unsuspended because he literally crashed out over everyone here was on Mario's brother side, but this is about the Amazon Union Strikes and im still gonna risk it because I like complaining. Whenever I see a Tiktok about it, half of the comments are from young men going "just put the package on my porch bro" like the entitlement is insane, even after everything that happened.
I really don't get why so many gen z men (men in general, again, but as a gen z man, ik so many guys on discord my age who are bootlickers) are siding with the rich. Like pretty much every gen z woman and afab people in general ik are on the working class side and the few who aren't are DRAGGED for being stupid.
They hate women who look like non-binary lesbians, yet revere weasels like timothee chalamet who look like non-binary lesbians.
Even in comments sections on YouTube etc, if a woman looks androgynous you’ll see everyone roasting her and calling her a “thing” a “tranny” etc. but the funny thing is, she basically just looks like these pubescent ratty looking male TikTok stars that these same exact people find attractive. The only difference is that they are male.
What they hate isn’t her androgynous appearance, but literally just the knowledge that she has female genitals. Because if she looked exactly the same but with a y chromosome, she’d be adored.
Meanwhile if theres a boy who looks like a girl on T therapy (aka chalamet), everyone simps for him or has sympathy.
So basically a girl still has to be perfectly beautiful and feminine just to get creepy sexual comments or jealous haters putting her down, but a man can look like an emaciated middle schooler and get million dollar contracts and a legion of girls defending him with the stupid “pRotEcC hIM aT aLL cOsts” shit.
It’s like how Korean gen z apparently really hates short haired feminist women but reveres male pop stars who look like short haired feminist women. That to me is misogyny in its purest form, It shows that it’s not masculinity that gen z values, but simply the bare minimum of being genetically male that gen z values.
It is a hatred of womanhood in its purest form.
What Millennials popularized: healthy eating trends, entrepreneurship, digital nomads
What zoomers popularized: incel rhetoric, doomer memes, internet ebonics
Am I missing anything?
That's it that's the post.
I just have to know. Does anyone else just meet zoomers that have the most inflated ego and always misreading or misunderstanding what you say while trying to act like they’re more intelligent and aware of a situation than you?. Cause holy fuck it’s getting on my nerves and starting to make me feel like I’m crazy or something.
Some zoomer made a post in another sub whining about all the grief genz gets and continually misread my comment.
I suggested that he get hooked on phonics and quit whining about it. So he blocked me.
Ahhhh. This feels good.
They all sound like some variation of this basically:
“YOOOO”
“LMAO fr”
“bruh ngl”
“yo im dead lololol 💀”
"ur a beta cuck old hed hahaha"
Like they have the most cringy low effort misspelled grammatically abominable sentences with the weirdest capitalization. They write like a cross between a dementia patient and a Russian bot.
Half the stuff they write genuinely makes zero sense and if I wasn’t familiar with how low IQ and stupid zoomers were, I’d honestly think it was a bot writing their shit.
Every other sentence is “bRO” “bRuH” “nGl” or IN ALL CAPS. It used to be only a minority of trash spoke like this but now it’s the entire fucking generation.
Again they write like cheap bots but then, with ZERO self awareness, act butthurt when we call them stupid.
It’s like they don’t have enough neurons making them capable of reason. Most pathetic and disappointing generation.
I was asking the new hires (19 yo) how they felt about congress overwhelmingly vote to ban tik tok and trumps pics being in favor of banning it.
They didn't believe me. Even after showing them the evidence. They said it's not trending on X so they don't believe it.........................
I think I'm done with this simulation.
This is all anecdotal so I’m hoping it’s not a widespread issue, but I know a few folks who have recently hired Gen Zs in entry-level positions or internships, and they all have a similar experience: these twenty-something “kids” do not have even a cursory understanding of fractions/percentages/decimals, or you know, just basic f-ing math.
They can’t do their timesheets because they don’t understand that 15 minutes is equal to .25; they can’t use a ruler or a tape measure because they don’t know what the marks indicate; if someone says “just add 30% to the budget,” they have absolutely no idea how to do that; one of them couldn’t even tell my friend what half of 50 was (swear to God), and he’s a senior in college getting ready to graduate.
How is this possible and has anyone else experienced anything similar? One friend had a theory that this was due to the “no child left behind” policies from the early 2000s but I really don’t understand how someone gets through COLLEGE without having this very basic knowledge.
What gives?
Legit tired of them coming in here and complaining that no one likes them… Have they not been ageist and hateful against literally everyone their ENTIRE TIME online? Lmao I remember being 18 on tumblr, 10+ years ago and zoomers EVEN THEN would cry about how “when I’m 18 I’ll never use the internet that’s for losers!” Just a few years ago, I was having to constantly read comments from BOTH zoomer women AND men complaining about how people are “washed up” at 25 and they’re soooo scared to turn 25.
Also the “ok boomer” meme was never like, “OK BOOMER! Except for the boomers born in 1969, those boomers are the cool ones!!!” We dislike boomers for the same reason we dislike zoomers, they aren’t doing their part and constantly fight with everyone. I have no clue what they don’t understand about that. It is not making me feel sorry for them in anyway, it’s like the annoying kid in class who bothers EVERYONE and then cries and tells the teachers if they get called a nerd.
This sub exists and it’s not going anywhere. Get over it. You guys want people to like you so badly, stop complaining and actually do your part. And if you did your part already, STOP COMPLAINING. Gen z screwed us this election, and in so many other ways. Not just the trump supporters, but the low turn out as well for such a crucial election, is an L from you guys!!! Majority of millennials don’t like you atm, but boomers do I’m sure, so you guys have someone atleast. Please drop it, and get over it. You’re not even the youngest gen anymore, gen beta is. It’s not like we’re hating on 12 year olds like you guys are, constantly trashing gen alpha, and they don’t even have fully formed brains yet. We are allowed to critique you, and not like you. You are all grown adults, get over it.
Sincerely,
A millennial who wasn’t raised in a world where I was the most important person and thing to ever exist.
As the title says.

Sometimes, I feel like I don’t fit into the ‘Zoomer’ mold, especially when I see how people complain about younger Gen Z men, particularly those born between 2003 and 2006. These were the guys who were in high school during Covid, got sucked into the manosphere, and now seem to define how people view Gen Z men online. But that doesn’t feel like my experience or the experience of many other older Zoomers.
For those of us born earlier in the generation, politics shaped us differently. Many of us voted for Biden in 2020, whereas first-time voters from Gen Z leaned more toward Trump. Older Gen Z seems, on average, more progressive than these newer first time voters who are now shaping how people view Gen Z politically. You have college students that are more conservative than ever before. It’s because of the fact that I’m stuck under the 18-24 range that people my age have to take blame for voting for Trump as well. You also have ASU students who voted for Trump just because of his ‘vibes’. Then you have all these college students chanting USA! USA! USA! outside of their own campus. Also according to the majority of the polls, the majority of them were not even college students at all and I’m sure that cohort who were in high school during Covid had to do with that. The pandemic has caused some of them to not go to college due to the fact that they much rather listen to guys like Andrew Tate, Charlie Kirk (who is really big with college students) and Joe Rogan instead.
I don’t get how someone who’s 24 years old on average has different political views than those who are 25 who seem to be considered more progressive on average according to the polls.
It’s wild to think that the Zoomer’ label gets lumped together so broadly when the generational divide within Gen Z is so obvious. I feel more aligned with older and than with this newer wave of Gen Z guys who embody everything people hate about ‘Zoomers.’ It’s like we’re from two different worlds as someone said earlier in one of the posts here even though we technically belong to the same generation.
The sub is rife with misogyny, racism, 4chan /b/ style trolling, etc. Read more below on more details as to why it actually classifies as a hatesub and the simple steps for how you can report it.
Step 1:
visit this link -
step 2:
For the community concern, select "I want to report a subreddit for violating the content policy"
Step 3 (optional):
After filling out the required details, if you'd like, you may add supplementary screenshots of the images/posts as evidence for the type of psychopathy that is rampant on the sub.
---
In case anyone is wondering how classifies as a hatesub, it is at this point developing a reputation throughout reddit as a reincarnation of the worst parts of 4chan, kiwifarms, and The_Donald (which was banned).
Just to name a few "themes" common on that sub:
-
Extreme misogyny (by FAR the biggest issue):
-
pro-incel extremism
-
Borderline racism
-
anti-lgbtq/transgender insinuations
-
censoring of any pro-female posts
-
General toxic culture that even its own users point out
We are also far from the only subreddit to notice the extreme backwoods bigotry that is more than happy to revive, here are a few other discussions about it:
Even other zoomers find it problematic:
...They choose the broccoli abomination. The guys choose to look as stupid, childish, and low T as possible while also saying they want to bring back alpha male trad values. And their stupid ugly ill-fitting grey sweatpants make them look like a 5 yr old in footie pajamas who just got discharged from a hospital. The female fashion isn't much better, with the oversized cargo pants and grunge shirts that make them look like 5th graders but then some of these same cargo pants girls want to go on TikTok bragging about "pretty privilege."
90% of Zoomers legit dress like the anime-dork-future-mass-shooter table from middle school while also being hyper-obsessed with social status. Huh?
They are literally a generation of nerds and dorks larping as popular kids.
Stupid fucking generation.
I didn’t until like 10 minutes ago while looking at laundry detergent in the supermarket
Decades of collective progress all destroyed by idiot retard broccoli heads whose entire identity comes from memes.
They literally benefited the most from what generations before them did, and instead of being grateful, decided to shit on all of it for fun and then fuck things up for the generations after them. Adults went out of their way to try teaching zoomers about morals and empathy but the contrarian shits decided "hAhA thAtS fOr bETa cUcKS" and became the generation of wannabe edgelords.
Zoomers got the most coddled parenting and "kid friendly" treatment growing up Yet somehow became the biggest bullies and psychopaths. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up being the most abusive and neglectful parents to gen beta.
And of course zoomers are devoid of self awareness so literally blame gen alpha (and probably beta) for following after the cringe bullshit that ZOOMERS started.
And then they brag about being sociopathic "jokers" but unironically get their feewlings hurt when people (like on this sub) call them out on their psychopathic bullshit.
Gen z is the generation that received the most but gave the least.
I went to dinner with a Zoomer a few months ago. It was a special occasion, and we had heard of a family-owned restaurant in a neighboring town, so we decided to go there to celebrate and try something new.
I ordered my food and a drink, paid for them, and waited nearby. He ordered his food, paid, and then asked for a water cup. I'm sure you can already see where this is going. Well, he went over to get his 'water,' and got lectured by an employee. I overheard him play it off like he didn't mean to dispense Sprite in his cup. He then dumped his cup and came over to stand by me. He mumbled something violent, and when I glanced over to look at him, he had this insane look in his eyes that were quite literally burning holes into the employee.
While eating, he would not quit talking about how pissed off he was and how disrespectful that employee was. He was upset because the guy wouldn't turn a blind eye to him stealing '85 cents worth of pop.' He didn't like that he was called out and lectured. When it was time to leave, he walked past the employee and gave him a death stare while calling him a piece of shit. Very loudly. It was beyond embarrassing.
He called me a while later to tell me that he had filed a claim against the establishment for the bogus ass reason of "the food was so hot that it burned the inside of my mouth and caused a sore."
At a local gun range. There are two registers and one line with alternating access to the registers. An average of 20-30 minutes per transaction. I had been standing in line behind 4 people. As two customers concluded their business, the line moved forward. Now waiting in line are:
1 man designated as A, 1 woman B,
myself (58f) C, 1 woman D, 1 woman E 1 a Zoomer and his wife F The remaining people in line.
As A steps to the counter, B steps to the second register. I step forward. I'm next to be seen.
Just as A concludes his business at the register (20 minutes), I take a step and suddenly the man from couple F decides it's his turn. He barges by all of the women announcing , "I need to ask a quick question."
Before I could say anything he was at the register and asking his question. A quick question to me is, "Where's the bathroom?" "What time are you open until?" But noooo. This guy was full of information seeking... which is exactly what I was in line to do.
At the approach of the third question and seeing the cashier starting to look for things on the computer, I was done. I approached the counter and gave it to him sideways. I was not quiet about it either. I may have drawn some attention. But hey, he wanted the feel special, so I let him get all the limelight. I also included the cashier as he continued to exchange information with the man instead of redirection and queueing him back in line. Both he and the manager were apologetic. The Zoomer skittered away. The girl at the next register was concluding her business and raised her first in solidarity. As did the women waiting in line behind me at the register. The wife stepped out of the line. The manager was trying his de-escalation techniques with me--I stopped him. I did not need to be 'calmed' I needed to be respected. I asked if his gun range was one where people violate boundaries, disrupt the social contract, and act impulsively all the time... and did all of his staff support such behavior--or just him (pointing at the cashier)....or was this just a one-off situation and normally the customer base is respectful and responsible--being a gun range and all, was I wrong to expect more structure? I asked if we could conclude our business and I could be on my way.
Three questions and I would have been done. How much? Hours? Veterans discount? As I was concluding my session, Zoomers wife came to get my attention. I just wanted to go home. She asked me to wait. She grabbed her husband and told him he needed to apologize. She explained he has a hearing problem. Oh my goodness, I should be so embarrassed... Right? My response was, he didn't seem to have that hearing problem when he was asking questions. She clarified it was 'selective hearing'. Understanding the assignment, I turned toward him and waited for an apology. He stood there like a deer in the headlights. I extended my hand. He looked at me like I set him on fire. It had to be killing him. He shook my hand and ran away. He couldn't look into my eyes to save his soul. I turned and told her she married an asshole, but good on for her trying to get him to be human.
Zoomers feel entitled to everything. Even your boundaries.
Gen Z male here. I'll be honest, I'm not entirely surprised about what went down about a week and a half ago. What did surprise me was how much my generation apparently loves authoritarian subjugation.
These past 8 years have been frustrating. I was under the impression that each generation gets more and more "progressive" over time, but it's impossible to ignore the regression we're all experiencing from these dumbfucks.
I'm not preaching this sermon on the mount from California, or Oregon, or New York, or any place you're thinking of. I'm from Kentucky. I had hopes that the shit I see in Kentucky is just an outlier in comparison to the rest of America. Nope, I'm the outlier apparently.
I've tried my best these past 8 years, but it's clear that my generation is fucked. If a Kentuckian can see that, then we're all in trouble. I'm sorry that I can't do much more than I can. Guess I'll refer to myself as a "Zillenial" from now on.
this massive gender divide?
What created a generation of men who are lazy, entitled, not particularly intelligent (even IF they went to college) but think the world belongs to them and only them.
What generation raised these lamers?
I've watched this play out at company after company. Legal or IT bans ChatGPT, for good reason. Your prompts hit a server someone can access. Maybe they don't. Maybe they do, for "training" or "safety" or a subpoena. You have no way to check.
But nobody adjusts the workload. People still need to move fast, so they use AI anyway, just off the record on personal accounts.
I've done it myself. Pasted client contracts, internal strategy docs, half-written performance reviews into ChatGPT because it's the fastest way to think through a problem. None of that should've left my laptop. I knew that. I did it anyway, because nobody hands you a real alternative when they take the tool away. I was the lead engineer at ExpressVPN before this, so I've spent years thinking about exactly this kind of risk, and it still didn't stop me.
So we built the version that doesn't ask you to choose. Fidaro routes your prompts through a Trusted Execution Environment, a hardware-isolated enclave that processes what you type without exposing it to anyone, including us and the model provider. Not "we promise not to look." We structurally can't.
We're a small team and still in beta, which means we need real feedback on how to make this genuinely usable for the way people actually work. Try it free: fidaro.ai
If your company's banned AI tools, try Fidaro and tell me if it actually holds up for what you need, not just whether it's safe enough, but whether it's good enough to replace what you lost.
So a little background… I (34M) started three years ago at a fairly new startup (won’t get in too much detail as I currently still work there) and joined a pretty small team of only 7. Well, toward the end of COVID we blew up. Our company quickly grew to a team of around 30 employees. Now, a lot of my colleagues were similar in age to myself, and we all got along fairly well. About 7 months ago, my boss decided we needed some younger people to help us with outreach and advertising. Great! Or at least I thought… I guess I hadn’t realized the MASSIVE gap in just one generation. It was basically all college-aged zoomers, white, and 7/10 of them were male. Communication with these brats is nonexistent. Never have met a more lazy and entitled group of people EVER. On the first Friday of their employment, my boss decided to treat them to a pretty expensive lunch at a higher-ish end restaurant in the downtown. NOW EVERY FRIDAY THEY EXPECT TO BE TREATED! They’ve hounded my boss several times, a few of them going so far as to say they didn’t bring lunch because they assumed that it was “normal protocol” on Fridays to get it delivered and paid for. After lunch, those same employees kept complaining about how hungry they were “as a joke” in their words. After the third Friday where they didn’t get their free lunch, it seemed like all communication with them came to a halt. It was hard getting them to answer even one email and it started to really piss me off, especially because they work down the hall from us and I could hear them talking and laughing all day. I’ve brought this up to my boss, and he says that it’s not “exemplary behavior” but he doesn’t think they’re so bad. He is out of the office a lot, so he really doesn’t know the half of it. Also, when he is here, he seems to get along well with them and we even hear him laugh along with them. He is a good guy, but I feel like he just misses his youth. Anyway, everyone in my office shares the same opinion as me about them, and we’re all pretty fed up. We were thinking about all voicing our concerns to him and hopefully he can see this is a problem. There is so many more little things that they do but this post is long enough and I need to go take a breather after writing this.
TL;DR Zoomers at my work expected to be treated to lunch and just mess around all day instead of working. Boss doesn’t fire them because he is out of touch with my colleagues and I.
What are the core beliefs and ideologies I need to adopt in order to detoxify my zoomer mindset
Dear Male Zoomers, especially those who love the color orange..
A few things you might be missing:
-
Millennials are too old to fight your wars. They are already dealing with back pain, student debt, and screaming kids while trying to cope with being made fun of for weighted blankets and avocado toast. Maybe someone will invent Tinder, but for like pen pals.. You know for when you're on your mandatory tour.
-
You really put your faith in a system that robbed your grandparents blind and left your parents on read when they complained. Congratulations, you practically have a PhD from the University of Idiocracy.
-
Healthcare is expensive, and there’s no fast pass for the VA like there is at Disneyland. Your TikTok fame won’t save you here. Shut up and grab a chair, if you can find one
-
Spoiler: we are all depressed, so don’t count on a “mentally unstable” exemption from WW3.
-
My personal favorite: the idea that you’re going to land an OnlyFans level girlfriend just because Humpty Trumpty told you so is gold! I Hate to break it to you, but athletes, you know people with money and not just the Black ones are going to keep stealing “your” girls. Taylor and Trav made damn sure of that, so please, keep dreaming.
-
Your “incel bunker” in Mommy’s basement doesn’t count as a home. ‘Free rent’ isn’t home ownership, so please stop trying to invite successful women over.

Stop crying and go to therapy. While I can’t relate to the daddy issues that were so obviously left behind when Andrew Tate abandoned all of you. I can semi sympathize with the fact that your body no longer belongs to you. Lmao jk, y’all chose this mess. Cheers to the next 4 years.
With love, Your fellow American
Edit because I rage typed this on 3 hours of sleep.
Hello my name is David and I’m a stand up comic; I performed some new jokes at an open mic the other night about our country’s new apparent problem that went over really well even with a small crowd, and seeing as I figure y’all would get a kick out of it I thought I’d share
This is the first post of mine that the GenZ sub auto rejected, I have a second one I'll post at a future date.
Men Realize There's Not Enough Conservative Women Right?
So the whole "court ordered wife" plan that swayed a lot of the young male vote to this outcome, you guys won! You're gonna get your way now, I guess. So... Y'all realize that conservative young men outnumber conservative young women though right? So you're likely to be court ordered a wife that is progressive, and possesses all of those nasty leftist traits you find so unappealing. I mean sure you can remove the facial piercings, shave off that blue hair, and take her cats to the pound, but what could ever be done about that 3 digit body count, all her "therapy" talk, and the remiments of her Only fans saved on other men's hard drives 😱? Are you really prepared to be deemed a low enough quality man to be paired with one of these "low quality women", instead of the conservative virgin christian home maker that was assigned to a man with a 7 figure income instead of you?
Many posts online have commented on how passive and non-confrotional Gen Z are. Almost an opposite to the Karen, the Gen Z'a order could be incorrect, have spit in it, and be overcharged and the Gen Z will just take it.
How then, did Gen Z wind up supporting one of the ruddest politicians ever, backed by Space Karen? I theorize Gen Z does like seeing minimum wage workers yelled at; just, they don't like to do the yelling. Why they love the "Karen" character...an older mother figure to fight their battles (fries were cold)...Molly Weasley from the Harry Potter series is an example of Gen Z's ideal "Karen" character.
tldr, Gen Z are not too poliet/empathic to be Karens...they just lack the spine to and want to hide behind Karens.
I was once in a grocery store where an independent coffee shop operated near the front of the store. The only working employees seemed to be a zoomer and her millennial manager. I wasn't paying much attention but the manager walked away on some errand and that left just the zoomer standing behind the island counter thing on her phone as I walked up to get a regular c up of coffee.
She didn't look up and actually crouched down a little more as I stood there. I said "Hello?" and tried to get her attention and stepped slightly to the side and noticed she slinked slowly to the opposite side trying to hide, staring at her phone the whole time. I continued to try to talk to her and she continued to ignore me and tried to keep leaning more out of sight. After a couple minutes it became clear this person was not going to do ANY work without her manager here and it was just pointless to even try. It was like she really thought I couldn't see her even though she's like behind translucent containers. I assume if she was on break she wouldn't be hanging out behind the counter, maybe put up a sign out something? Seems weird to take a break when you're there only employee at the moment and the store is open.
I've had pointless zoomer aggression at being expected to work and such too, but that really took the cake for me, just like... nope, i'm just going to hide for as long as I possibly can the moment the boss steps away. (Who knows what she did when the boss is there anyway though, it always seems like the millennials are doing all the work)
In seeing some of the posts I wrote for the GenZ sub that were instantly rejected with no explanation as to why?
coming from someone who hated my generation a good year before the elections, i don't know why they care so much about this sub. it only has 5K members and the gen z subreddit has 376K people yet half of the post there are about this sub.
i'm just glad someone made this bc one reason why i hated gen z so much as someone who is gen z is because of the victim complex. idk why but gen z thinks they are the only generation that was hated for being young (now hated for other reasons) while ignoring that they told gen alpha to bite the curb because gen alpha are kids. they also ignore that millennials had a whole war against them because boomers didn't teach them shit as kids and boomers blamed them for it, and even gen x got some "young people bad". i saw a news channel from madison, wisconsin have an archive report on gen x from the mid 90s.
is this election solely gen z's fault? no. many people are at fault and ik trump supporters are gonna go "liberals will do anything but admit harris ran a bad campaign" and the thing is she didn't. she made her policies clear. she wanted to give first time house buyers 25K and support the working class, but they ignored it bc a democrat was mean to them in 2016. many people voted out of spite, and gen z was one of the main two (the other being self-rightous 3rd voters who voted for jill stein and other 3rd party people for palestine, just for stein to come out as a zionist and supporter of israel)
Unreliable, under-educated, unmotivated, antisocial, and unoriginal. They’ve set the bar so low for future expectations that anyone with an inkling of ambition will be far more valuable than they’ll ever be.
I used to worry about having to compete with younger, more technologically savvy individuals. Now I’m content when I sleep at night all the while knowing there’s really nothing to worry about.
First off, fuck you to every zoomer, millennial, gen zer and boomer who voted for Trump. 😤
And fuck you to every Harris supporter who didn’t get off their asses and vote.
Now that’s out of the way…
Social media and this influencer culture has rotted the fucking minds of many people in this country. You’re worried about the economy? That’s valid but pick up a book and learn from an expert on how this fucking works. Do not learn about it from some idiot influencer on social media who may have barely graduated high school.
Economics is such an important topic so junior highs and high schools need to teach it. It’s baffling that in Junior High I was forced to take a home economics course but not an economics course.
One of my best friends is a gay millennial man who voted for Trump. He told me it’s because the Trump administration would NOT be able to reverse the Supreme Court decision in Obergefell and that Trump will fix our economy.
I’m a lawyer and took many economics classes in college so I told him before the election exactly how the Trump administration could reverse Obergefell and why Trumps plan on deporting immigrants will exacerbate inflation.
An influencer he follows told him the exact opposite of what I said. This influencer isn’t a lawyer or expert in the field whatsoever either. According to him she was correct on the issue and that’s what influenced his vote.
I would bet that’s how a lot of voters made this decision as well.
Social media has made it so the people of this country will ignore the information provided by experts when those experts gained that knowledge through school and/or successfully doing it in their career. Yet take anything an influencer says at face value despite that persons complete lack of credentials on the subject.
It’s actually hilarious that the president were stuck with for 4 more years is labeled “fiscally responsible” despite his numerous bankruptcies, adding $6.7T to our debt his first presidency and being responsible for the longest government shutdown because he needed the debt ceiling raised.
Trump is an expert on manipulating people, on how to drive a business into bankruptcy, on how to exploit tax loopholes to avoid paying your fair share of taxes and how to get away with criminal activity but he is NOT in any way shape or form an expert on fiscal responsibility.
Do better next time, for fucks sake.
hint: ‘your’ = braindead zoomer voters. ‘my’ = the United States military. have fun being forced to fight and risk injury and life for Israel’s interests. 👋
If you aren’t familiar, was a series of videos that supposedly was “wholesome kids content” that was uploaded to YouTube between 2013-2016, that had popular pop culture characters of that time do inappropriate kid-unfriendly things.
When I was back in college, I had to do a piece on this as part of a journalism project, and I had to subject myself to hours of Elsa and Spider-Man (both live-action and animated) doing really creepy, disgusting acts. My paper ended with an ominous prediction that the kids of that time (this was 2017) would end up being emotionally and psychologically scarred by what they have seen.
To what extent did these videos contribute to this generation’s questionable behavior and mindset?
.
What's primarily the driving force behind the hate of Gen Z-ers? I have a good idea it has something to do with the rather concerning support of Trump among Gen Z males but I'd just like to be sure
...Is how fucking weak they are.
It's not even the trump stuff I hate so much as it is how they want to spew edgy venom like "haha your body my choice" on twitter while also having too much social anxiety to order fries.
I would unironically not hate them and their wannabe alpha male bullshit as much if they actually were men with T levels above 80. But fuck, there is nothing more pathetic than some soft bitch with the bicep diameter of a 10yr old girl trying to "assert dominance" over women literally just for being women. Like no you're a fucking biological failure and embarrassing to your male ancestors in everyway, but you want to coast on the achievements of the men who were worth something.
It's like when a chihuahua barks its head off at you while simultaneously shivering and wetting itself, except said Chihuahua can also destroy society.
