Q: What is Vostanera?
Vostanera is a fictional country created solely for entertainment reasons, just like any other similar community-based endeavors. For more information, please see: vostanera.miraheze.org/wiki/Vostanera
Q: How can I become a staff?
We have no plans to begin taking applications for staff until we are in a time of high demand. It's not necessary for you to show any interest because we will be choosing our own staff and may well PM you asking for your availability. If that fails, we will announce it.
Q: How can I contact a staff?
Use the PM feature of the forum.
Q: What should I do while my registration is pending?
You simply have to wait for your account to be approved by one of our staff members. You will get an email notifying you when your registration is completed.
Q: Will my account be deleted if I do not log in for a long time?
We value archival preservation. There is no reason for us to delete inactive accounts.
Q: Is it mandatory to follow proper writing conventions?
You can write using any style you wish. But what we are requesting is that you please refrain from talking gibberish. This is done for the sake of order on the forum.
Q: Are alternate accounts prohibited?
Yes, unfortunately we don’t allow sock puppets on our forum.
Q: Why can't we use attachments?
ProBoards' file system is very restricted. Because of storage limitations and long-term accessibility considerations, we tend to go for external hosting.
Q: Can I put any country in the "Country" field?
You are completely free in this regard.
Q: Is political discussion allowed?
Absolutely, but do try not to drag countrywars into the discussion and not to take it too far.
Q: Is NSFW discussion allowed?
Q: Can I advertise?
Direct ads like “please subscribe to my channel” are not allowed at all. If this is what you want to do, then please do not join our community at all. Advertising is okay as long as it is related to the topic being discussed. Please do not make another thread for advertising.
Q: Do I need to open a separate thread for lost media?
Yes, but make sure the media you are searching for is truly lost and hard to find. That being said, our website is small, and thus you should not have high expectations for our success rate. Instead, we advise you to look at Discord servers or lost media forums.
Q: How can I donate?
Since all of our services are completely free, we do not require donations for now.
Q: Someone is harassing me via PM. What should I do?
We don’t have the capability of looking at PMs. If it's a minor problem, you can just block that user. If it's really bad, please send us video proof (with multiple page refreshes) through the forums. We don’t want people banned for no reason.
Q: Can I appeal a ban decision?
Every ban is reviewed by hand and scrutinized many times before implementation. If you feel that there was an error in judgement, you may reach out to SadeceZinzap through www.reddit.com/user/SadeceZinzapRDT/. Accounts are not deleted, they can be reinstated.
Q: My ad blocker gives an error when I click on an external link. Is this a virus?
No. Simply click "Continue" and you will be redirected to the external site.
Q: Is there any issue with archiving pages?
Absolutely no problem! You have full freedom to do this. Unlike many so-called retro websites, you won't get banned for archiving pages.
