Pubs deserve our backing. I’m not sure some of @JohnHealey_MP's choices here do though... Our 20% cut in business rates will benefit thousands of pubs, clubs and music venues across the country.

Genuine question - do you think the electorate is actually that superficial that they will fall for it? If you look at comment pages in newspaper articles etc there is a lot of realism that e.g. what's killing pubs is more than the business rate - it's the cost of employing
