Or do you mean the engine of the first Doom, and not the ID Tech 8?

The mystery of this weapon's name has been revealed!

I can't answer your question. However, I will note that since Microsoft owns the engine, it would be strange if they licensed the engine from a competing company.

And it doesn't cause panic at all, unlike Doom 3, when your computer is in a dark room, and you're sitting there with headphones on, completely alone...

Today I was given Doom 2016 to play. Um... It's definitely not Doom. There's no fast player movement, although everything moves smoothly and the graphics are very good, but it's not the same Doom. In fact, it's not even Brutal Doom. And it's not even Quake; no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get bunny hopping or anything like that to work. I also completely misunderstood the ammo collection and reloading logic.

I have a suspicious the layoffs were due to Dark Ages not performing as well as Eternal did

Thanks for playing joekerwildedbj87 ! Glad you enjoyed the episodes Ive been watching your YT playthroughs. On the latest vid I didn't catch the missing texture you mentioned in E3M4. However, the mess you encountered in M5 near the red key after you drop down was fixed in the latest version.

Both of you are correct in everything written so far, but there are more. Everyone may (re)answer.

The problem turned out to be pretty trivial to solve: you can just cut out all the conflicting assets using SLADE, and to avoid sound glitches, simply load the map AFTER your favorite mods.

Hahaha count me in. Map Name: Fudge PackersMidi: Uses MAP16 slot for midi. Tested mainly with dsda-doom, and Zandronum. (I noticed on Zando the Rats clip into the ground a little bit) Instead of short n sweet, this one is short n smelly lol. Screenshots:

Aubrey Hodges also music for doom psx and final doom psx Fine, I'll accept your answer. But only because it's correct. Scoreboard switchblade - 2 points thundercunt - 2 points SilverMiner - 1 pointQ6. Of the Doom II monster roster - which ones do not appear in Doom 64?

During a live performance, Breaking Benjamin was playing a song called "Blow Me Away," a song famously part of the Halo 2 soundtrack. During the performance, the image cast behind them was playing a modded recreation of Halo Combat Evolved that pretty clearly looks like it was made in the Doom engine. Has anyone ever seen this mod? I found a post on reddit talking about it but in the past two months no one has identified it.
