Unusual output on terminal

Hi, folks!

I’ve just receive this output when I updated my system, with sudo pacman -Syu as usual:

Is it normal? If it is not, is there anything I can do to figure it out?

Which was fixed but is now back:

I’ve encountered the same issue with my system. Seems like it’s an issue in the cachyos-extra-v4, cachyos-extra-znver4, and cachyos-extra-v3 repositories having a slightly incremented version of libpipewire that isn’t compatible with the stock arch packages. pipewire-audio, pipewire-pulse, and pipewire are all only available in the stock arch extra repository, hence the conflict. Looks like they just removed the cachyos specific extra repo packages, so re-polling the repos should resolve the co…

It doesn’t stop updates now at least.

What is the newest version of the CachyOS kernel today? Linux 7.1.3-2-cachyos?

Because this version is the latest when I use sudo pacman -Syu

The output is “Nothing to do”.

You’re on the V3 repos which haven’t been updated yet.

You can basically ignore it. This happens when packages get shuffled around for whatever reason or someone makes an “oops”. If nothing is actually broken (in this case, audio) is more a nuisance than an actual issue.

If everything works you can ignore it. If not, or you just don’t want to see this, run sudo pacman -Syuu and it’ll install the version found currently in the repo.
