took me a while to overcome the grief and shock but i’m finally ready to share this: my dog Jam passed away last week.

he had a weakened vein that ruptured last week, and we lost him in just a span of 3-4 hours due to internal bleeding. he’d shown no prior symptoms, and was his usual excitable self until that fateful afternoon.

i was a wreck the next few days, haunted by the fact that i never said a proper goodbye despite being by his side from when he first felt unwell, bcos it all happened too fast.

but one day @raphfoo reminded me of how it was random disappearances that were a part of what made him special - sometimes while sitting with us, he’d run off for no reason, and we’d spot him frolicking in the garden a while later, either running back to us… or guiltily trying to hide the fact that he’d found our food scraps 😂

i found peace as i pictured his final departure as that: him leaving my side as he always does - while it was sudden, i know we’ll meet again in the garden of heaven when the time comes✨🌾🐩🌾✨

thank you so much for the past 12 years, buddy. you were the best first dog i could’ve asked for. i’ll miss our cuddles and adventures, i’ll miss how you always made me laugh, and i’ll miss making videos together with you. i loved u so so much ❤️
