Murder Drones: Official Graphic Novel #5 Discussion Thread
Greetings Colony!
Today, Issue #5 of the Murder Drones Graphic Novel has been released! So, once again we at the WDF have decided to create a discussion thread for the colony to talk about the newest issue!
Continuing from where the previous release of the adaptation left off, this issue follows the Events of Episode 7: "Mass Destruction"
Send any thoughts, reviews, or general discussion. Say whatever you want to say about it (but keep it civil!), and try not to become an echo chamber too quickly!

The art is at least better
They did the cringy "oh I know you're still in there" that the series avoided
A few changes here and there that were a little ehh, but V wasn't in this issue so the main punching bag wasn't able to get worse

What else can we even say at this point.
It’s the same as the previous issues, poorly adapted, poorly paced, good enough artwork. And I doubt the last issue is going to be any different.
I will say, the whiplash of getting the J special and this issue back to back is kind of hilarious and sort of amplifies this comic’s problems by tenfold and just shows that Oni and Wyatt Kennedy were not the right people for this thing, while someone like the ZAMination twins, who put thought and care into that special, could’ve made it work.
Honestly I’m just now desperately waiting the final issue so we can finally put this disaster of a comic run behind us, and focus on the better aspects of the series in the forefront

Art's better. Some pretty good panels here and there. Pacing is beyond breakneck still. If you were a newcomer who hadn't watched the show, you'd have no idea what's goin on.
I'd just be repeating myself from previous threads for the other issues. It's bad. Second verse, same as the first. Now give me the last issue so we can put this thing in a hearse.

As far as I know the art has improved but the novel itself is still hideous

I already know the writing is trash but is there any good drawings of j in this because i need a new profile picture desperately and I actually like the art style of this one 🥹
I’m honestly curious how the hell they gonna handled episode 8
I haven’t read any of the comics, I’m just here for the chaos
I keep forgetting this is even a thing. Hell Glitch themselves don’t even bother promoting this thing. I’ve been told that this entire graphic novel is somehow worse than the show itself and I don’t know how that’s possible.
