I hate to say it, but was Miraido right? I mean, the number of mass casualty events the protagonist and their team cause is absurd, and then you just blow up the moon?! Do you know what blowing up the moon would do, not just to Japan, but life on earth in general?!

In standard Japanese (or Japanese styled) game fashion, there is no such thing as proportional escalation. It's always moon buster or bust by the endgame.
