I don’t want to sound like a hater, but these chapters have just gotten way too short. The story feels like it isn’t moving anywhere because of how little we’re getting each month. Weekly manga usually get 15–20 pages, and at this point we’re lucky if we even get that. I don’t know if the writer/artist's getting tired or what, but it’s really hurting the pacing of the story. Honestly, this arc should’ve been wrapped up like two years ago.
I always thought it would be cool if Dazai went out in a very non-blaze-of-glory kind of way. Something simple like having Atsushi read a newspaper in the final chapter only to learn that a man wrapped in bandages was found deceased in a river beside a woman named Tomie Yamazaki. It'd be a morbid way to end the series yet still pay homage to the RL Dazai in a beautiful way.
The game specifically tells us that Chloe and Franks did drugs together(also pot is drugs but that's another story). Also I never said Chloe wouldn't get better. Just that max is FAR ahead of Chloe in terms of, well, having her life in order. Just because Chloe got her friend back, it's not like everything would magically go back to normal. In fact more than half the time they spent together in the first game was arguing, or Chloe getting herself shot dead. If they are going to be "together" there would definitely be issues.
I know this is going to get downvoted into oblivion, but it would totally be in character them to break up. By the time they reunited in LiS1, Chloe became a loud, drug using extrovert, which is as far away possible from Max who's a nerdy recluse that already has a career path planned out. I fully believe that if Chloe thought she was holding Max back, she would be willing to let her go if it made her happy. Or at least until Max is done with school.
Same thing happened to me once. Forgot to cancel my membership for 3 months, and they refunded it no questions asked. I'm sure they can check your account and see your playtime to see if you're being truthful or not. I also trashed multiple items by accident and they always get it back within an hour. Honestly despite what goes around, I've only ever had good experiences with them.
Debatable. Games like Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor were basically outsourced to EA, and most of the involvement from Lucasfilm were like hurdles than anything else.
In an interview with The Guardian, Asmussen said Lucasfilm was so very protective of Jedi in terms of Star Wars canon that they pushed for a change.

With Andor, Disney was content letting Tony Gilroy do his own thing as an already accomplished director, which is obviously why he got a full 24 episode series instead of the usual 8-
I just feel like it has to be Tanizaki. He infiltrated the mafia all by himself, single handedly made the black lizard look like chumps and would have taken out Mori himself if Kōyō hadn't entered the room. He's also got this dark side(plus sister) to to make him easily malleable by Mori, and even Hirotsu says that his ability is strangely useful for assassination and espionage. It would also be the perfect set up for his and Naomi's backstory since they're the only ones we know nothing about so far. That is if it wasn't put on the cutting for floor by now in favor of this constant Fyodor nonsense.
I think it would be a neat story, considering everything about the Tanizaki siblings make it feel like the COULD have ended up with the mafia from the beginning as they're so morally gray. Dazai would be waaaay to obvious and honestly the franchise is already oversaturated with so much Dazai
Chuuya & Akutagawa are pure evil and should be not exempt from their crimes just because they're hot. They are still terroristic murders who have been shown to be willing to strap bombs to adolescent children and blow up innocent lives. They're 100% complicit in their bosses pedophilia tendencies, going so far to joke about it in WAN. Liking them as characters is fine, but they're not your meow meow.

If a new skyway and lvl cap is off the board, then what's the point? Updates that give weapons and drops don't matter because there's nothing to even use them with. And if they just want to focus on creating a story instead, rather than a skyway because they LITERALLY DON'T KNOW HOW, then just do something like RavenWood Academy instead cause I would prefer that at this point.

Who? To be completely honest, Atsushi's sole existence at this point it to fight the main villain at the end of each arc and that's basically it. It really feels as though Asagiri dropped the ball Setting up a MC that he doesn't seem to enjoy writing all that much compared to other characters.
I genuinely do believe it started out as a passion project, but there is no denying that it changed from the start. I remember when the BSD manga first started, literally every character had a near equal amount of fans(except Dazai obviously). Then it got to the point that every shounen anime gets to, where if your favorite character isn't one of the big 5(We all know who they are) you might as well stop reading because odds are you're barely going to see them again.
No way it will be anywhere nuisanced as Andor was unfortunately. Whenever Jedi and Sith are involved, Disney has shown time and time again that they're afraid to make people think deeply when it comes Good & evil. They gotta stick to the usual childish writing so the watchers won't have to think to hard. The only reason Andor's got away with it is because it's so disconnected from the rest of Star Wars.
It's obvious the current writers struggle to write bounty hunters as they try to avoid heinous material, which is the whole point of a bounty hunter. The last thing we need is for Aphra to become just another bounty hunter that gets her teeth or grit removed by disney especially when Aphra is already a great character in her own right, and imo fills the super niche roll of a simple treasure hunter.
I can't be the only one who feels this way right? At the start of the series we had so many of them which felt like a rarity for this type of manga. Hell the mafia, the literal rival group was comprised of an almost 50/50 ratio between men and woman. But then Fyodor's group showed up and it was comprised of only guys... And the fujo pandering began. My god the fujo pandering. Granted with the hunting dogs have Teruko, but she seemed to ironically be the one the fanbase just doesn't care about.
I also find it funny that the series is officially meant to be a Mystery, Supernatural Seinen, yet googling it describes it as an Action Shonen. I dunno, it sort of feels like this series strayed really far from its roots since the last arc.
Wanting to make a Star wars movie that woman can enjoy is great. And I was super excited for this trilogy because it would show those that didn't like the sequel trilogy that it was the directors to blame, not the actors. Because I absolutely adore the sequel characters, even if the story was super poor. But that fact that Chinoy is just an open sexist and relishes the fact, it makes me feel like we're in store for the exact thing that happened years ago... :(
Imo the popularity of the soukoku ship warped a lot people views on their actual relationship. As much as I would like to believe Dazai cares for Chuuya, that's just not the reality. He's super low on Dazai priority these days, and lest we forget.... Chuuya is an underworld gangster terrorist... Which is something people everywhere in this fandom seem to forget about the port mafia in general- mostly because they're handsome anime waifus/husbandos. Guaranteed if Dazai had to choose between saving Chuuya over literally anyone, or god forbid a member of the agency, he's going to sacrifice Chuuya 10 times out of 10 because that's the right thing to do. One big reason why Dazai is so fixated on Oda is because he is the sort of man he wants to be like. Chuuya is... Chuuya. And Dazai isn't a fan of that.
As others have said, lock picks. Also an object can be checked to see if a spell was used on it, and wands can also be checked to see spells were recently used. Alohomora is probably a whole lot more traceable than it seems especially if the perpetrator doesn't do a good job of covering their tracks.
Maybe I'm missing something important, but why did he become a Khan exactly? In the promotion quest, Subodai returns home in an attempt to become a Khan, but when he gets there the horde is already fighting over who will become the Khan. They even offer Subodai the chance of becoming khan but he passes it up saying that he would rather stand in a pit of snakes, and that he's decided to follow a new path as a pirate. You then go to the tavern where Subodai promotes and... He becomes a khan anyway? It just feels like a huge oversight in the storytelling department unless there's something I'm not getting.
It will be an extremely light year though and easily the biggest drought in a while. The majority of people won't watch the Bad Batch after the first two season being so mid, Tales of the Jedi is really only going to be seen by hardcore fans and Young jedi adventures & Visions aren't even worth talking about especially in a fandom space.
Most likely there would have been 2 Tom Riddle's walking. Which would have caused things to play out a hell of a lot differently. Cause Tom was so narcissistic and prideful that I could never imagine him being fond of seeing the Voldemort's scarred face. He played so loosely with murder while making the horcruxes that I wouldn't be surprised if he thought, hey, this me makes me look bad so I'll kill him and make another horcruxe- or something crazy like that.
I know it's probably a bit much to ask, but can someone please translate it by ear if possible? The song has been out for 7 months and the lyrics are still(and probably never will) not even up in text format yet.
I don't really get why so many people here are saying he doesn't change them- unless it's some fanon joke I don't understand? Kunikida has a literal nickname for him 'Bandage Wasting Machine' because he goes through them so fast. And every time they get bloodied in some way, they're clean by the very next scene showing that he probably had some either on hand or is smart enough to switch them out. And when it comes to the 'he's in prison' thing, you get basic medical needs in prison PLUS canonically he hasn't been in prison that long anyway. It just feels that way because the manga is progressing insanely slow. Dazai may look/act dumb, but he's not so stupid to avoid such obvious medical issues.
I loved Bungou Stray Dogs but this is kind of getting insane at this point. It genuinely feels like every chapter I read this arc has been the same oh my god
I know this is 3 months old but I'd just like to point out that Andre Gide is most definitely 99.9% intended to be gay. His obsession with Odasaku and the way the novel describes how Gide'll look at Oda with 'handsome eyes', it's clear infatuation. Also the real life Andre Gide was the very first openly gay man to receive the Nobel Prize for literature- and his stance on being pro-homosexuality was a major thing from the moment a picked up a pen until his death.
I'm sorry to the resident Chuuya stans but he couldn't even break through Lovecrafts defenses AND suffers from a time limit that lasts only seconds to mere minutes before he drops dead. All Francis would have to do is last until Corruption runs out. And considering Chuuya has zero mental control during it, he would be super easy for Francis to react to. There's a reason Mori sent Akutagawa to fight Francis instead of Chuuya, simply knowing it would be a better match up. Fukuchi just dies fast since the one thing he lacks is speed, which is exactly what you'd need against Chuuya and Francis.
Technically they were supposed to be seen as an orangish red, but still canonically red sabers, since that is what Dave said at the beginning. But it's obvious Lucasfilm has different plans now to make the orange a much more prominent feature for Baylan and Shin considering how iconic they became.
lol absolutely never. No one does them. The game is based around having 1 school and one school only, even if the game itself tries to tell you otherwise. If you DO see anyone who is able to use 2 school at once well, then they most definitely payed an enormous amount of money through packs to make it possible. And even then their main school will still be inevitably better in almost any given situation considering how the game is built around using blades/traps/prisms.
It's unfortunate how they ban people for the dumbest reasons imaginable, with most of them even being their own fault. That's part of the reason why I'm so glad I never spent a penny on this game besides the one monthly membership whenever a new world drops. That way in the off chance I do get kicked I can start over pretty easily. :p
Okay but I better not see ANYONE give these episode a high review I swear. As someone who watched and enjoyed nearly everything Ahsoka these two episodes are insanely mid. Like. Wow. I don't think I've been this bored with a Star Wars premier in a while and I seriously hate to say it because my expectations going in weren't even THAT high to begin with in the first place.
And lmao to anyone who tried to claim you didn't need to watch Rebels because you absolutely needed to do to even know, or let-alone care about this storyline. It feels like exactly what it is. A show made by a guy who's use to making 20 min cartoons who's forced to stretch the length to almost an hour long because he has a quota to fill. Loved Ray Stevenson and the rest of the villains though. They're probably the only good thing about this show right now.
Not to rain on your parade but Beast Mori is literally opposite day Mori, so... Yah. Adult Elise? Good with Kids? Take both of those things and reverse it. Also Chuuya and Koyo are totally aware that he's a pedo don't care enough to do anything about it because they to are EVIL.
Aside from the obvious "Chuuya gravity" theory, I'm wondering if someone else saved Dazai. Namely Nikolai. We know he can teleport anything within a range of 30 meters, which could very well explain where the bullet went. Also he DID save Sigma before so... maybe he would want to keep Dazai alive if he needed him to help kill Fyodor.
Not dead. Chuuya shot Dazai 4 times but there's only 3 holes in the wall behind him. Where the one being absent just so happens to be the fatal headshot. Chuuya likely used his gravity to halt the bullet just in time.
You're taste is the Bungou Stray Dogs equivalent to a bowl of unfrosted corn flakes. In fact if I had a cornflake any time I heard someone say Dazai Fyodor Nikolai or Chuuya were their favorite character I would have drowned under a sea of cereal and my body would never be found because there's just so many.
Sorry to say, most of the Manga readers aren't to fond of this arc either. It's long and drawn out, with WAY many characters and it never really focuses on what it needs to focus on... If you don't like it or the characters it's following now it likely won't get any better. On a side note- It's hard to believe that These 5 episodes alone spanned 16 CHAPTERS. That nearly 2 years and it feels like nothing happened.
Makes sense from a business standpoint. People can defend shows like Boba, Kenobi, or Mando S3 all they want but there's no denying that Star Wars has been in a decline in quality with each passing show, with all being reviewed worse than the last. The only real good one has been Andor, and that got the least amount of viewership despite good word of mouth. But I'll bet the massive drop of watchers for Mando season 3 was what really struck a huge nerve.
What's worse is now we have Ahsoka, where the majority of general audience members are going to be lost because they didn't even watch Rebels. It's practically a lose-lose dumb plan on their part from a money earning POV.
No way that would happen with KI. That train of thought can backfire heavily with game development. Often with games that have a small fandom, it causes the devs to feel as though they need to work harder and prove themselves. Once something goes mainstream or they make it big, that feeling is lost and creators become relaxed or lazy, slowing down development time. Overwatch 2(basically does nothing except microtransactions) and indie devs like Notch(became billionaire, sold minecraft), and Toby Fox(literally voice acting in cartoons now when fans are begging him to just finish his game already) are three examples of that.
We have to remember that Wizard101 was sold to MGI by it's parent company just 2 years ago. If a day comes where they realize they can cut costs AND keep the playerbase(and they have already with reusing assets for nearly all of Lemuria) they absolutely will.
The superior stats and gear make up for most of the shortcomings. Fire objectively has higher resist and survivability than than storm, which tend to be more on the squishy side. I can't tell you how many boss battles I've been in where everyone blades up a Storm only for them to not get the one shot and they go "welp, guess I'm dead" and exactly that happens. Fire is almost as strong as Storm anyway and won't die in 2 hits. Also Efreet pre-nerf. 💀
Oh 100%. But I think most people in the fandom fail to realize one obvious issue when it comes to shipping in this franchise. ...And that is no matter how hard you may ship two characters, they will never, EVER become canon... Certain characters may blush or flirt around with one another, but Asagiri no doubt abides by certain rules. And one of those is definitely to keep everyone single. That is unless their significant other's counterpart is introduced as well, Like Francis' wife Zelda. Seems to be the safest bet.
On the top left of the card it has the number 2, and the effect says to tap 4 Ink's to draw 1. Does this mean I need to tap 6 Ink's in total to play and use the effect? Also, can I play the item card early with the two cost, wait and let it sit on the field, and then use the effect next turn?
I've noticed a lot of people seem to think Bode's turn makes little sense, and why he doesn't just take his daughter to Tanalorr along with the hidden path. There actually is an explanation to this, but it can only be found after you completed the game. That being a Sense Echo in Bode's bedroom where you'll find a meeting between Bode and Denvik. In it, Denvik offers Bode a deal that if he kills the Jedi Cere(though he ends up killing Cordova instead), Denvik will grant him access to information that will lead him to knowing which Inquisitor it was that murdered his wife. So yeah, just something neat that I haven't seen much people talking about.
I'm so confused because I just finished the anime and found out that there was another ending song that I somehow missed apparently. Can anyone help me find out what episode it plays in?
Well Cal would be in his 60's in The Rise of Skywalker if he isn't. Considering how young Bo Katan looks despite being in her 50's, the inconsistencies of age don't seem to matter all that much when it comes to appearance. And besides, I don't think it would be that hard to deepfake him to appear a a bit older the same way they did with Hayden, especially if it's something like a short hologram appearance.
I do suspect him possibly dying at some point, but the after credits does have Greez call Tanalorr their new home. So I wouldn't be surprised if Cal ends up staying there with Kata to rebuild a new order behind the scenes. That way Rey will already have a few supporters like Ahsoka, Ezra with Jason, and Cal with Kata by the time the new set of movies come if they really want to try and connect it all.
Could change depending on what happens next, but Cal & Merrin as of right now is currently the only major Star Wars couple to still be alive up until the end of the timeline.
The Bungou Stray Dogs fandom has turned into one of the weirdest, strangest, & worst at time fandoms I have ever seen. And this is coming from someone who was around before the Anime was ever a thing. The Manga was made as detective seinen story to be a love letter to authors, but when the anime came out it was polluted by shounen and BL fans with these weird as hell mindsets of 'if you think Mori is a good or don't ship soukoku or don't think "Insert male character name here" is gay then you need to die' and that's pretty damn unfortunate(Most definitely why the Manga is absolutely trash right now in terms of story). That said, people are allowed to have their own opinions and that's okay, but I'm glad the creators of the series are at least aware just how pathetic the BSD fandom has become.
Honestly, and I know this would probably anger a LOT of people, but I think the ideal ending would just be everyone getting with their RL partner counterparts(probably offscreen so it doesn't effect the series). Hell, go the extra mile and have Atsushi find Dazai deceased in a lake next to a woman with the name of Tomie. I think that would be a morbidly beautiful way to tie up the series.
Kunikida for sure. Either dying with that kid who had a bomb around their neck, or sacrificing himself to take out one of the hunting dogs would have been so on par with his character. The latter really gave me hope for the current arc at the start cause I was half-expecting Dazai to get out of jail and totally lose it upon hearing what happened to his partner. Now for "bad" fakeouts, for me it's gotta Dazai this month. Come on, Asagiri, you're not going to kill off the literal reason this franchise continues to exist... It just feels like another month of wasting time.
I know I'm gonna get downvoted, but I'm honestly so disappointed in this episode. It feels like we've been doing the same song & dance for a while now and it never changes. "Blah blah you took off your helmet", pirate filler, Greef on Nevarro adventures, baby Yoda silliness, ect. This might be the first live action I'll skip if it doesn't pick up the pace soon.
I have no doubt that someday there will be. They did recently say in a KI interview that they would be re-working the beginning of the game for new players as W101 did if I recall. But their main goal right now is quality of life improvements since they have a whole new team working on it and the voice actors of major characters like Bonnie Anne are unable to return to voicing.
Pirate101 tends to focus more on real subjects like race and politics compared to Wizard's fantasy ones. One quest for example leads to kidnapping a child and your party ends up debating the morality of what you're doing, which would feel really out of place in Wizard. The best way I can put it is if Wizard101 is a game for 8-10 year olds, Pirate101 is a game for 10-13 year olds. It's not that much worse, but you can feel a difference.
Definitely! It's seriously an overall better game in terms of story and gameplay. Also the crewmates you get are infinitely charming which makes it feel more like a traditional game than an MMO. With that said, it doesn't have fishing or farming like wizard, and there's basically no PVP, but personally I don't think it needs those with how it does everything else right.
Ngl I'm kind of worried whether or not this will be able to reach it's goal in time. We have a ninja pig plush, Merle Ambros figure and a Bonnie Anne plush campaign going on all at the same time, and there's no way the majority of people will be willing to put money towards pirate merch over wizard(let alone merle ambrose) merch. I'm going to be real salty if wizard somehow ends up denying the bonnie plush on the 10th anniversary of Pirate101.
Something similar happened to me once. As others have said, try contacting support. I accidentally deleted the new weapon(Epic Photon Foil) that wiz gave to players after the Lemuria update dropped and instantly contacted support. They have all the history on your account and as long as the item was in your inventory at any point, they'll usually just put it back into your backpack no questions asked.
I get that many people feel this way about higuchi, but I really don't think it's anywhere near as bad as people claim. Higuchi never lets her feelings get in the middle of work. And sure, Akutagawa lashes out at her from time to time, but that's to be expected given the way he grew up. Besides, they're in the mafia where other partners like gin and Tachihara casually puts knives at each others throats. That's just how the mafia operates. Yet it's still far more than what we ever saw Higuchi and Akutagawa treat each other.
And if the CD Dramas/wan/anthologies are anything to go by, Akutagawa is very clearly aware of how much he needs her. She literally bathes him because he's afraid to get undressed by himself for pete's sake. They're each others anchor. They just don't know how to say it because 1: Higuchi is too sheepish and 2: Akutagawa refuses to show weakness.
If anyone needs to change their view of things it's Akutagawa. Dazai already recognized his strength and moved on, and Higuchi is the only one working to making Akutagawa life better rather than worse.
Speak for yourself. I personally have massive issues with episode length. Sure you can tell a good story within 30 minutes, but ultimately it's much harder to do so. That's why the shows that HAD to do it, Clone Wars/Rebels used a 3 episode arc structure format. Because you simply cannot tell a story a complete story in that amount of time.
The same can literally be said for nearly all star wars movies. Star wars has never(never) worked as preschool entertainment. People can try and claim that this'll be different but it will fail and be canned after 1 or 2 seasons the same as the rest, guaranteed. And this is coming from someone who actually enjoyed Resistance.
