When did the "activist" game developer mindset start?
Most strange phenomena can be pinned down to a single date or title, such as the first game to feature a turrent section, or the first game to feature quick-time events (I'm glad those two features are gone). So, what was the first game where the developers had a "activist" mindset, where they didn't care about their customers at all and actively fought against them brazenly. When did this terrible, narcissistic mindset start, and what's the first game to be plagued by it?

I can pinpoint such a mindset with movies, with Ghostbusters 2016. That was the first movie I saw where the director, the actors, and even the studio funding it actively went against the customers and fought against them so openly. It was pretty weird, which made it satisfying when the movie flopped and it sequel was cancelled.

But what about games? What was the first game to be plagued with the "activist" mindset that ruined it?

Semantics.
So whenever you are factually wrong, you attempt to redefine the term, attack the speaker, or derail the conversation.

Got it.

Yeah, we're done here.

Still can't find anyone to succinctly explain why Diversity Equity and Inclusion are a bad thing.

Dramatization, may not have happened.

Why would the late operative mentioned above try to "convert nerds into white supremacy"? And was it really Bobby Kotick who started "inserting identity politics into everything"? Via microtransactions perhaps?

I guess Kotick supporting Hillary Clinton worked against the virtuous Democratic Party, so there was that at least.
What do women by population in one single country out of have to do with gaming?

I did not attack you. I explained that in the field of sociology they are considered a minority. Your engagement in semantics therefor is pointless. It's clear what people are talking about when they say women are or were a minority. They were still around 50% of the population back when they didn't have the right to vote. That lack of a right to vote was a contributing factor for why they are/were considered a minority.

Like I'm not redefining a term. I'm explaining to you it has more than one definition and it's clear which one people were talking about.

There are plentily of threads on this topic. The claim of "can't find anyone to explain why" doesn't fly anymore. Unless you intentionally dismiss those valid views. DEI is racist policy by the left.

It's still up in the air on the level of input from Kotick and Epstein. Just that they were familiar with each other. Kind of like how Epstein wasn't some criminal mastermind. He was barely literate, finessed his way into being a college professor and just so happened to bring together the biggest nightmare blunt rotation.

Yup, still waiting for someone to explain why Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility are a bad thing. Also why people keep forgetting the accessibility part aside for having a fondness for 3 letter acronyms.

It's even worse. It is just a str8 up PSYOP, that many are falling for on both sides of this "Culture War" and people are using it to make fast easy money...

The way its implemented is horrible. I'll use one single company to make the example eaiser to explain. Sony. Over the 10 years.

Uncharted 4's ending set up to replace Nate Drake with his daughter Temu Lara Croft.
Last of us 2 Killed off Joel as the main protagonist and replaced him with two female leads.
Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart decided to reduce time spent playing as Ratchet by 50%, thus making the player use Rivet.
Ghost of replaced Jin with a female lead in the second game
Horizon was a franchise created with a female lead character.
Naughty Dog's next game,Intergalactic, has a bald female lead.
God of War has now replace Kratos with Karen.

Now no one is saying that "women in gaming is bad" like you'd all like to imagine we're saying. I'm just saying that I'd like some diversity in my Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Have you even read what I said? People already explained on this topic, yet why are you intentionally ignoring those explanations? DEI is RACIST policy from the left, that's one explanation.

2nd explanation, DEI violated 1964 and 1972 of discriminatory laws. 1964 is race based discrimination, and 1972 is sex based discrimination. Excluding any of these above is racist and unenforceable.

The thing is, WE HAVE HAD this for DECADES?!

All this is, is to keep us DIVIDED for a reason.

We have had well made African oriented Characters.

We have had well made female characters.

We even had stuff with the LGB that was done tasteful, without pushing past the boundaries.

The PROBLEM is, that is not ENOUGH for this Satanic Cult to cause enough DIVISION, so that they can CONQUER, under the radar...

DEI = Divide et Impera, in latin. That is what the acronym is. In english, it stands for "DIVIDE AND CONQUER". This cult EMBODIES that so that they can control the entire world easier.

You all need to WAKE UP...

EDIT: And NO it does not stand for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. We have HAD inclusion and diversity for CENTURIES!

This is all a FARCE to cause more division where there needs to BE NONE...*mic drop*

That sounds like you just don't like things and decided to make it everyone else's problem.

I want you to explain it. In your own words.

Read post #440. Now I have a feeling that you intentionally denying and refusing to see reason. This will be the last comment of the conversation, have a nice day :steamhappy:

Weird how that is said about me but was not said about the original push for DEI.

Sounds like monorities had problems with a "lack of representation" in gaming and decided to make it everyone else's problem :steamfacepalm:
