When did the "activist" game developer mindset start?
Most strange phenomena can be pinned down to a single date or title, such as the first game to feature a turrent section, or the first game to feature quick-time events (I'm glad those two features are gone). So, what was the first game where the developers had a "activist" mindset, where they didn't care about their customers at all and actively fought against them brazenly. When did this terrible, narcissistic mindset start, and what's the first game to be plagued by it?

I can pinpoint such a mindset with movies, with Ghostbusters 2016. That was the first movie I saw where the director, the actors, and even the studio funding it actively went against the customers and fought against them so openly. It was pretty weird, which made it satisfying when the movie flopped and it sequel was cancelled.

But what about games? What was the first game to be plagued with the "activist" mindset that ruined it?

So you acknowledged that you never blocked me but to contact me intentionally to derail? Yup, confirmation bias for sure.

I edited my post that the publisher acknowledged it and put that to rest. All sources show misunderstanding amongst the lgbt community, which you did know but rather to argue instead. The publisher cleared it up.

It hasn't gone to far. It hasn't come close to even being near to 'too far'.

But for some people, the tiniest loss of privilege, being moved a single step aside from the spotlight feels like being abandoned. But that doesn't even come close to where they would be if the pendulum had gone 'too far'

It's not new in my post history the opinion that all this 'anti woke' nonsense is all fabricated outrage in order to drive bigoted discourses (Ye olde racism, sexism, lgbtiphobia) older than most of the gamers buying into and parroting them.

At the end of the day turns out the groomers and the indoctrinators were not where some said they were.

Nobody tell him that the French translation of FF8 describes Sorceress Adel as intersexed. Or that Faris Scherwiz from FF5 bounces between gender pronouns.

Or the cross dressing (drag) found in FF7. Or the bathing scene in FF7 that was...very homoerotic.
If FF7 released today he'd had a very different opinion about it, rest assured.

I never blocked you, you blocked me. I'm just giving examples why modern day chuds might whine should several of the FF games were to be released today.

For example, they'd lose their collective mind (just the one) over how masculine Sorceress Adel looks, they'd cry "woke uglifying women."

Upon farther research, French version isn't sold in North America anyways. According to lgbt websites that clearly Leon went on which it can be dismissed as irrelevant.

American version of Final Fantasy 1,2,6,7,8,9,10/10-2,12,15 and 16 which I owned all the originals. None of them has any lgbt theme.

With this subject happens like with music. The 'good music' is the one you listened when you were young, music after that is crap.

Likewise the games they played when being young never were woke, only all the 'crap' thereafter.

I have done research to verify what Leon has said. Nothing the person has said is the truth. Apparently French version may have different game that isn't sold in North America, United States in particularly. Final Fantasy series is one of my favorite games and I play it often.

The publisher has made an official statement regarding those characters, I trust the company over Leon anytime a day.

Despite what you claim of "straight slop" or defending wokeness. Final Fantasy is non-woke and they made really good games. Final Fantasy is among one of the longest running game series. We are now on number 16 of the series. Each one of them are enjoyable.

In regards to FF13, that game was released for PS3 and not compatible for PS4 and onwards.
