When did the "activist" game developer mindset start?
Most strange phenomena can be pinned down to a single date or title, such as the first game to feature a turrent section, or the first game to feature quick-time events (I'm glad those two features are gone). So, what was the first game where the developers had a "activist" mindset, where they didn't care about their customers at all and actively fought against them brazenly. When did this terrible, narcissistic mindset start, and what's the first game to be plagued by it?

I can pinpoint such a mindset with movies, with Ghostbusters 2016. That was the first movie I saw where the director, the actors, and even the studio funding it actively went against the customers and fought against them so openly. It was pretty weird, which made it satisfying when the movie flopped and it sequel was cancelled.

But what about games? What was the first game to be plagued with the "activist" mindset that ruined it?

Y'all got the memories of a gold fish. Even black females characters are getting beat with the ugly stick. We already discussed this multiple time.

You're just desperate to make it a race thing because you know that you lost on the facts, but minority characters are catching the hits too.
Sorry bub, but I'm not the one making it race thing. Let me rephrase to make it clearer for you:

Is it the one where Big Macho Buff Dude and Big Breasted Vapid Girl aren't the de facto characters in games any more, and we are actually getting different types and looks for characters? I would say that's a good pattern to have.
There was actually more diversity before the woke activist basically started forcing devs to follow a check list, especially in fighting games.

And something like one out every three western devs getting laid off over the last two years.
You act like routine layoffs haven't been routine in this industry for four decades. News flash, this ain't nothin new.
You are lying to yourself if you think that laying off a third of the industry is anywhere near normal.

Except in terms of "beauty," right?

You act like "uglification" of characters and DEI is why it's happened over the last two years. News flash - it ain't.

Does your "uglification" mean that they are no longer being hyper-sexualized?
Idk what the 1st game was, but major studios all started pushing it after that anita sarkeesian fraud started making grift videos.

"Ermahgerd, hitman had a level in a strip club once, and you could kill a stripper. Ermahferkingerd!"

It includes things like doing a face scan of a real actress, then modifying their face to make them less attractive objectively various ways.

Human beauty serves one purpose. And that purpose is "Would I pay to ♥♥♥♥ it?"
Anything else is just some pretend gobbledygook.

Just like real life the more hypersexualized she is, the more I'd pay for her. Not a hard concept.
Dante Alighieri wrote The Divine Comedy in the 14th century. And he was far from the first person to put his politics into his art.

If we're still talking timelines.
People like the OP basically watch Gundam and only see giant robots, and watch Godzilla and ignore the anti-war anti-nuclear messaging

That's very vague.

And removing their 'vagina bones'?:

No, it's not.

Maybe not if I was in your little community, but you'd have to elaborate your opinions.

If you don't know without being spoonfed, then you are not informed enough on the subject matter to be able to meaningfully contribute to the conversation.

Have a nice day.
