Then we'd have to rebrand to anthrosfw.foo or pureanthro.foo or .com or something idk, but domains cost money, im lazy and we've dug our shovels too deep into the sand to confuse people with a rebrand.
I appreciate our shared compassion for anthro characters however I think that the branding and the content of the site should be seperate, we should go all in on the fiddleafox branding but the post content can be the pure anthro site we all want. We have gallery threads where you can look at people's artwork. etc. The banners can be a great showcase of someone's artistic skills if they draw a fiddleafox character. I think we need to encourage more fiddleafox activity to try and revive her.
Often I sperg out and say I hate averi but I don't, often I forget about her, people don't post her as much, I want the banners to eternally remind me of her and keep the spirit up so that against all odds we can revive the fiddleafox fandom and be good fans, and hopefully maybe someday, if it's ever even possible which I doubt, I'd like to see ourselves becoming approved or liked by fiddleafox herself and would be willing to make any changes to make that happen because I do think her and her art deserves a second chance and is being unfortunately corrupted by so many evil people out there. We need to be the one website that is pure, good, that loves fiddleafox and her artwork for what it actually is and says "Hey, here's averi, heres all the good fans of averi, and heres a home for more averi fans to actually like averi and not be a weirdo"
And I love anthro artwork but I feel like it just doesn't belong in the banners section of the site, if that makes any sense. Sorry about that, but that's my philosophy regarding this topic.
