This subreddit is for sharing propaganda to view with objectivity. It is absolutely not for perpetuating the message of the propaganda. Here we should be conscientious and wary of manipulation/distortion/oversimplification (which the above likely has), not duped by it. "Don't be a sucker."

Stay on topic -- there are hundreds of other subreddits that are expressly dedicated to rehashing tired political arguments. No partisan bickering. No soapboxing. Take a chill pill. "Don't argue."

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

Word from author:

Hudnas are cease-fires often taken by Westerners as a sign that the "peace process" is working. What is actually happening is that the Islamists are simply regrouping to restart a fight they don't intend to stop.

And Israel agrees to a ceasefire in Gaza and continues shooting and bombing Gaza.

Okay, but what it-- and stick with me here-- that wasn't true at all?

[–]unit5421 23 points24 points  (2 children)

It is tho. Isreal is also not committed to peace but that does not make Hamas a group of good people.

[–]Casual_user1012 11 points12 points  (0 children)

True, but they have negotiated peace deals that were genuinely fair and Israel denied. Israel will use any excuse to kill people, but again Hamas is evil, not denying that

Zionists have to depict Palestinian resistance as monstrous barbarians in order to soothe their conscience as they commit Genocide.

People compared it to the Gaza war. Which is a false comparison. It wasn't a war it was intifada. Meaning this is exactly what was going on. Palestinians traveled to Israel to commit terrorist attacks against Jewish civilians weekly. Every week they picked targets like buses, schools, restaurants, bars. This was after Oslo Accords where they were given their own nationhood. Many Palestinians saw the peace agreement as the pressure working so they increased it 10 fold.

Israel built the West Bank wall in 2005 and the attacks largely stopped. Basically 95% fewer attacks just because of a wall as terrorists couldn't get from West Bank to Israel proper. And Israel put up a ton of road controls in West Bank meaning you need to have a visa to get into Israel proper. If you look into West Bank now you can see how many guarded posts there are. It has been the most successful anti-terrorism tool ever. But it's also quite expensive.

The war today post 7 October is not like that. As the war mainly took place in Gaza. Because West Bank are run by a party Hamas hates, and tried to wipe out, West Bank didn't work with them. Only Hezbollah/Iran did. And that's why the war was in Gaza and Lebanon not West Bank as military actions in West Bank are small operations together with Palestinian Authority to take out Hamas cells in refugee camps.

Look up the 2 intifadas and the terrorist attacks. The people who committed these attacks were not the government like now. They were merely working with the government.

This Arab caricature is so over-the-top, it makes Watto from the Star Wars prequels look sensible.
