About
"Warning May Randomly Start Talking About Pears" Soyjak or Fanboy Cobson refers to a variant of the Cobson Soyjak in which Cobson is depicted wearing a given fandom's merchandise and making a soy face, also wearing a shirt that uses the phrasal template "Warning May Randomly Start Talking About X," with "X" being a reference to the fandom. The earliest known version of the meme, depicting a Soyjak fanboying over pears known as Pearjak, was posted to Reddit in early 2023 and became increasingly popularized over the following years as an exploitable meme format.

I always love it when a new soyjak meme is posted. People are so angered by them that they click on the article, scroll down, and post a comment, fueling further engagement and incentivizing staff to keep posting them. Reminds me of the old days of advice animals and impact font memes that would make users equally angry.

I am so sick and tired of these ugly caricatures and how they just refuse to die.

Most of these sojaks come from Sharty which is probably the single worst altchan to ever have existed – it's effectively /pol/ for SFV-brainrotted teens obsessed with wojak derivatives. Let me tell two reasons why they continue to make these ugly things.
The first is just a general desire among adolescents to make their mark on things. The internet is full of protected walled gardens these days and you can't really do much. Since there's about 5 websites (and discord) now and they all require accounts with various degrees of protection, the easiest group to attack are imageboard users.
The second part is the disdain the generations of imageboard users have for each other. The wojak kids KNOW that they're hated by older imageboard users, so in their mind those old "cringe" imageboards deserve to be wiped out for opposing the great wojakification of everything. The strange thing to me is that they simultaneously hate older imageboard stuff and yet copy it and consider themselves to be the "real" version. If they weren't so proudly destructive towards imageboard culture/history it would be nice that teenagers are getting into imageboards. A real monkey paw situation, I suppose.

one future scenario is that the teens will grow up as if were a phase ¿remember emo music? or youtubepoop? or even advice animals and rage comics? and eventually they more or less get a clue on how lo be a normal human (whatever the fuck is suposed to mean or will mean by then) only a couple of memes are eternal and at best only 1 wojack will survive in the archives as an edited 'feels guy' that branched out

It's not "feels guy". It's Soyjak. Show it some respect. And for the record, we will NEVER stop posting Soyjaks.
