5000th Post - Year and a Day Update
Hello my lovely followers this is my 5000th post so I am going to open myself up and tell you about my training thus far. As of June 22nd I will have been studying in self dedication for a year and a day. I am surprised the date is only less than two months away.

A Very Lovely Yule
Every year my mother and I attend a yoga class in honor of the Winter Solstice . This year I was unable to find such an event but I did attend a Yin Yoga class for the first time. It allowed me to meditate on each pose which I held for four-five minutes each. I left feeling so exhilarated that I decided to base my ritual for yule tonight off of my experience with Yin.
I have yet to make a book of shadows so I thought I would share with my fellow followers (many of whom are pagan) the steps of my ritual
- 1) Ritual Cleansing: Sprayed room and self with fresh lavender aromatherapies
- 2) Set an atmosphere through ambient sound. I found my music from http://themoonphase.tumblr.com/
- 3) Called Corners (Scott Cunningham’s Guide)
- 4) Invoked the Lord and Lady through a Yule Chant (Scott Cunningham)
- 5) Performed 3 sets of Sun Salutations and 3 Moon Salutations in Yin Yoga fashion
- 6) Final chant and meditation/ reflection
- 7) Divination Work: Tarot and Pendulum
- 8) Released Circle
The addition of the sun and moon salutations added a special charm to my ceremony
