Only when the target amount is reached will we produce the digital, standard, and special editions. The production period is about six months. After completion, the items will be sent to the address designated by each supporter. Time spent with thousands of friends, gritty, and desperately crafted.

The moment it ended,What spread deep in my chest was,An indescribable sense of loss

On the morning of opening, I cried with my friends and watched the smiles of the visitors.

I was looking forward to seeing Komyaku's derivative creations on social media that came out every day.

That passion, the wind, the light, the culture, the love,

If left alone, everything will disappear.

After the closing, we received many voices from people.Each and every one of them was very earnest.

For a while, I have continued activities to preserve Komyoku during work breaks.

However, there were limits to continuing on my own, almost as a volunteer, and I almost gave up many times.

It's easy to say "leave a legacy."

But that only comes alive through someone's time and money.

How can we preserve the design legacy of the Expo?

Through these activities,I faced this real reality.We will open up the "trajectory of thought" that cannot be seen from the finished form alone.

At that moment, I saw Komyaku and suddenly thought.

Just like the open design we've done so far,

I thought it would be better to create it together with everyone.

While opening up the process,

Fellow creators, artists, architects involved in the Expo,

What kind of process unfolded behind the glamorous public stage? What kinds of conflicts and dramas swirled around him?

A book that passes on those stories and knowledge to the next generation, allowing you to weave new narratives from here toward the future

That's right.

Starting with the design system for the Osaka-Kansai Expo known as "Komyaku," which became popular both domestically and internationally, the open design project "EXPO WORLDs" featuring design art sound at the Yumeshima Expo venue, and the character design renewal for the much-talked-about Shin Yanbo Marbo, they have developed numerous notable projects both domestically and internationally. He has expanded his activities from creative work for national projects such as the Osaka-Kansai Expo and Kouhaku Uta Gassen, to creative work for numerous global brands like NIKE and YANMAR, and even design strategies for startups.
