For several days, I have been reviewing my past work in light of recent criticisms from Fr. Lavery, many of which are unjust or mischaracterizations, some of which appear to be just. In this latter category, I have clarifications, and indeed retractions to make.

I will be releasing an essay to explain (already ~3k words) before the end of this week.

Again, thank you to everyone who has stood by me in the face of this ugly “campaign”. Your prayers and encouragement are appreciated. The outpouring …

Lots of self-styled “traditional Catholics” are captured by the pernicious equality doctrine of the enlightenment and its application to political and social life within the human family.

Racial egalitarianism is the biggest and most obvious symptom.

They will criticize and oftentimes mock “Novus Ordites” for being Liberal but refuse to t…

How does God punish disobedience to His laws?

This remains the only viable way to solve the Crisis and truly “unite the clans”.

In the absence of pontifical Authority, the Church would be reduced to endless squabbling over Catholic doctrine and theology, the formation of “factions” within the Church, and likely a parallel and pseudo “magisterium” to correctly interpret directives apparently coming from the Apostolic See. Imagine the state of the Catholic Church, the magnitude of the crisis, if this were to occur for decades.

One would likely…

As I have said in other places, this was a great presentation from Alexander Poe which handles a serious topic and for which there is a mountain of evidence. We need more of this dispassionate, intelligent analysis while simultaneously remaining courageous in the face of modern taboos — both inside and outside of the Church.

The Old Covenant and religious economy of pre-Christian Judaism were made void and abrogated at the Death of the Redeemer. Having been fulfilled by the true Messias, this religious system which — in itself, was never salvific — is now deadly to observe. In fact, its observance is an implicit denial of the Messianic Dignity of Our Lord a…

The biggest issue with mass immigration is that it changes the racial composition of our countries. America has fundamentally changed and will change, irrevocably, if nothing dramatic is done.

According to Thomas Mirus, the SSPX is a “damnable sect” but, since he accepts Vatican II, he also has to maintain:

1. The SSPX as such is used by the Holy Ghost as a means of salvation (Paul VI, Unitatis Redintegratio, no. 3).

2. The persons in the SSPX are, importantly, not outside the Catholic Church, far from it, rather they enjoy par…

Censorship, boycotts and deplatforming are how Christian Civilization is maintained.

It is not enough to oppose error in the abstract, it must be combatted practically.

The only way in which this would be refuted is to say — like conservatives do — that error and truth are to receive equal rights.

An absurdity.

Dr. Taylor Marshall is in a pickle.

Having covered the facts of the Crisis in the Church his entire career, the revolution of Vatican II and its rotten fruits, along with the doctrinal, disciplinary and liturgical reforms which have deviated — to a greater or lesser extent — from Tradition, he is beginning to study Catholic principles of ecclesiology.

The Church cannot produce a defective rite, she cannot give a liturgy that is an incentive to impiety, canonizations and universal disciplinary la…

The Catholic Church has never condemned slavery absolutely (nor can she), and she has always understood it as a consequence of the fall of man and a legitimate punishment. Scripture, in both the Old and New Testaments, Popes, Saints and theologians all witness to this.

When modern thinkers decry (in themselves) Authoritarianism or Dictatorship, they are merely repeating an old liberal error championed by Montesquieu.

In previous times, this was simply a legitimate form of absolute government, whereby the ruler — whether he be called king, emperor, etc. — enjoyed plenary (supreme) power of himself to enact laws FOR THE GOOD OF THE MULTITUDE, without dependence upon pre-existing civil laws or the consent of subordinate rulers.

The three main divisions of liberalism:

1. Religious liberalism maintains civil society, i.e. the State, is completely independent of the Church and religion, denying any duties to the same.

2. Political liberalism teaches that civil authority comes from the people, not God, and that it may only be exercised in the name of the people and with their consent.

Conservatism as an ideology, distinct from the legitimate “conservative”disposition, is largely a product of the American and French revolutions which denies that:

• All Authority, including political or civil, comes from God

• The act of the will to choose evil is license, rather than freedom

• The primacy of the common good over the individual good

• The State is bound by Natural Law to be subordinated to the Church

• Rulers are bound to give public honor and obedience to Christ
