a server since alpha days huh. those were the days. bumping your server post on minecraft forums every few mins cause the front page would send your post to page 2 in minutes.

this makes me wanna res my server. but mine was going from 2011 :)

Amazing server. ALL of my builds that I built since I joined in march 2011, are still there, intact, without a scathe. Doesn't matter which part of the server I built them, not a single torch is misplaced. Staff are very friendly, supportive and helpful if you don't break any of their rules which are clearly written infront of you when you join for the first time. ANY OTHER server I had joined, if took like a months break from it for real life stuff, upon returning back the whole area would have been greifed. Upon contacting their staff, they would say, oh you weren't active so we let other people utilize your space OR oh you weren't active so nobody reported the grief. But on this server... this is 2018, and I have taken year long breaks even, everything I have ever build on this server is still intact because of active staff.

If someone wants to try to grief the server, to see if they can grief it, to a staff it just looks like the player have griefed and well then I have seen so many perma bans in the last 7 years! Thats why whenever I do wanna raid some server with friends, we go to grief friendly servers and never even tried to grief on Minecraftonline. This is why I keep returning to MCO, knowing my previous efforts will not have been griefed upon my return a month from now.

Server is cool as hell but some mods take things extremely seriously... break a block then you put it back but they make you apologize, which would’ve been ok- I get it. But the mods I encountered were condescending as hell. I can understand their desire to preserve builds but some people really have power trips... on a fucking Minecraft server- honestly, enjoy it for the views, but not the leadership.

Hello I am a moderator from the MCO server, and wanted to put out there that the staff team on the server does make the effort to create a good community, moderating on MCO is quite different from any other server i have been on in that there are very few protected regions and players have to have respect for other's work.
