Those online have found that the recently released Rise character trailer for the Persona 4 remake has censored the starting portion of it for the western version, the idea of the female character wearing a swimsuit apparently being “too heinous” to put in a trailer.
The Japanese version of the Rise trailer has her wearing a swimsuit for the first couple seconds:
The English version of the trailer has this part removed completely, while the rest of the trailer is completely untouched:
Many suspect that the western version removed this portion to “prevent backlash” from the usual suspects who whine about “sexualizing underage characters”, despite the fact that video games are not real and there are no victims.
This is unsurprising for Atlus however, as the developer has kowtowed to censorship and western propaganda on more than one occasion.
Reminder- katrina leonoudakis was hired by atlus as their head of localization.
Reminder: every Persona remake has been very censored, especially any of the jokes at the expense of fags and trannies, of which there were several throughout P4 too. All going to be removed, fanservice toned down, characters wearing faggot tranny rainbow cult symbols.

Sega, Nintendo, Bandai Namco, Capcom, etc. have all let wokealizers be yes-men/no-men and have final say on character designs, stories, etc., especially any they deem problematic. The Japanese creators, the artists, etc., literally are all described as seeking out their approval on -every fucking thing- they make, before it goes live.

Yep I knew they would be censoring this and this won’t be the only thing, there is a hell of alot more stuff in Persona 4 that would be “problematic” than there was in P3. Expect this to be butchered. Gonna save my money and not buy this just like I didn’t buy p3 reload due to censorship. Besides I got p4 golden already I have 0 reason to bother with this.
