Well Isaac is a 2.5D sometimes platformer so I'm not surprised

Good game. Not the best, but it's one of the main games that made rogue-lites what they are today so it's very influential

I'm an og isaac fan(?) since the flash isaac. I've stopped following isaac after antibirth dropped. But i've just recently returned and, while it's not the best game out there, i enjoy it once again

The lack of synergies in the game is kinda disappointing, with every upgrade being either more damage, higher fire rate, or more health. The game's simplicity can be refreshing, but there is not much replayability

Isaac is a good game. Im just naturally bad at it. Both gameplay wise and RNG wise.

Doug is a streamer and therefore is unable or unwilling to invest the time required to learn a game without completely transparent mechanics. For the sake of creating variety content every game must be easily approachable in order for it to be a well contained viewing experience.

Okay, real talk, I have it on switch and I agree 100% with Doug. I’m sick of having to use the wiki for every item, and you can’t even get rid of items you don’t like.
