Isnt Orbit Games just a distro for AP?
Quoted from MauiPunter:Isnt Orbit Games just a distro for AP?
Don't think so. In fact, it looks like Orbit is the parent company of AP. Just saw this on their website:

I don’t think any of it matters- they are just made up wholely owned entities under the same owner.
Aimtron started orbit when the management went to build projects besides just pinball… basically just a rebranding to expand their scope. Maybe they did some internal restructuring in case they needed to dump pinball… but since it all sold to the new guy it doesn’t really matter from the outside. All the same owner, same leaders. My guess is the new owner just let the things already in motion be and let them play out. Is he a believer in the other products? That’s the interesting part to find out. But they are boat anchors imo.
Quoted from parsonsaj:There is an implication here that they already have a Senior Designer???
Melvin Williams
This is a smart move. If they are gonna produce 7 games in the next 2 years like they've promised they really gotta staff up !

Seven … very ambitious. Have they even teased a game yet THIS year on social media anywhere?

I believe when the CEO was doing his AMA here thanking pinsiders for groundbreaking industry disrupting advice such as "make fun games," he said they would be producing two pinball machines in 2026.
I don't remember too many other specifics. But looking forward to those new games this year!

Surely they have plenty of time … 18 months to manufacture 7 games. Two “help wanted” ads posted by AP in the last month (assembly workers and now junior designer).
Easy peasy.

The new owner said in his post here, directly replying to you Levi, that their goal was 1 game this year and then 1 or 2 games per year going forward.

I'm not sure where you got "7 games in 2 years", when the actual goal was a much more realistic "2 or 3".

They have since hired Melvin where there is an implied, he will try to force JPOP games into the pile thing. Wouldn't be surprised if the new owner is also trying to steal the moon.
Quoted from Tuna_Delight:Is a code update for Oktoberfest still being mentioned at all?
I haven't heard any "official" updates around that; I only received an informal "We'll take a look at it".
Quoted from Tuna_Delight:Is a code update for Oktoberfest still being mentioned at all?
Or Galactic Tank Force?? Honestly, im starting to lose hope.
Why do you think Oktoberfest would get an update? Oktoberfest v22.09.19 was the last almost 4 years ago. Is it missing something?

They posted on Facebook about 2 weeks ago that it's still coming, but no solid date.

If you play a 2-4 player game, there's a bug that won't let you enter your high score. Can only enter high scores in single player games.
That's the only issue I'm aware of though, otherwise game is complete.

It's been "a couple weeks away" since TPF where I believe they had it loaded on the machines to test. Would rather them get it right vs introduce more bugs to the code.

I wouldn't, other than I recall seeing (or hearing in a podcast) this supposedly being stated by the new owner when he purchased AP.
I love Oktoberfest, but the code has some bugs yet and it could benefit from some final polish. Before AP went dead, Ferret (Joe Schober) indicated in posts on Pinside that another code update was in the works.
Wow there is no excuse for not fixing a bug like that.

I can't figure out if I agree with this but it did make me laugh.

I understand the hate, but, I do love JPOP games. TOTAN and CV are two of my favorite pins.

It's interesting - Oktoberfest seems to be the stepchild of the AP family. At the 2025 Chicago Expo, AP brought every one of their games (including Whirl-o-Ball) except Oktoberfest. It was also MIA at the 2024 Expo. And now, on their new YouTube channel, it's the only AP pinball that doesn't have a video yet.
I did just make a deal for one, and I'm expecting it in a couple of weeks. Ben Zink (AP parts department) confirmed to me that parts are available, so that's good. (BTW: For those who haven't dealt with him, Ben is great - very helpful and pleasant.)
Just chiming in to say Ben is doing an AWESOME job. VERY timely responses and has gone over and above for me a few times recently!

It's also listed as a "Retired Game" on their website. But yeah, I've bought parts for the one we have in my work office before without issue.
And agreed, Ben is great.
Quoted from Medic:Do you think WCS will be released this year?
I'm not even convinced that CV will be.
Quoted from Medic:So AP confirmed CV is being released. There were strong rumors that they will remake WCS as well. Do you think WCS will be released this year?
If they released TWO pins in the next six months, as they say they would, that would be shocking. Outstanding, but shocking.
I think I found a leaked picture of game #2!
[quoted image]Haha. Tastefully posted like a true Stern dealer.

no per Bryan

Yah, I wasn't implying anything negative, I just found it by accident searching for something. Best of luck to you guys!

I've never been a fan of WCS. That soccer ball just takes up a ton of real estate on the PF, and does very little.

Thanks man! There was no offense taken. I was just giving you a hard time. You should give Ron a call about being a dealer. I promise game two will be better than that, though.
Quoted from AMpinball:CV will be released in the coming months. We are testing the game, finishing the new code / 3-D aminations, and preparing for production. We plan to announce game 2 before YE and it will likely go into production in Q1. Thanks!
Any pricing information yet?

Since you're here, whats the scoop on a code update for Galactic Tank Force?
Quoted from CoolCatPinball:Since you're here, whats the scoop on a code update for Galactic Tank Force?
Funny you mentioned -was just on a call on that. We wanted to fully complete and improve the Zulu mini-wizard mode because it was currently just another tank battle, so we felt it necessary to make sure that was upgraded with some new ramp shots and sequences. It will do some new cool stuff when you defeat the last tank Zulu. We added extra ball features, ball save timer, and a bunch of gameplay / UI improvements in addition fixing to a full list of bugs. I just wanted the full code went out complete, so I was willing wait so we could add all of the new features. The only future update will be the final wizard mode which will come later. We are going to release a final special powder coated SLE that is going to include a great topper and a new Leor sculpted tank. Can't give all details but it will be released alongside the code update before SFGE end of July. Tank mech and topper will also be available for purchase for existing GTF users. Full details coming soon - along with a new Website!

Coming soon! There will be a Classic and Ringmaster edition at 2 price points. RM will be loaded.
