A very-well made documentary about a horrible problem.

Truly, respect to these men. Hard work. Both Daniel and the "smugglers". It's about acces, capital and good regulatory frameworks. The government is failing these people. The business needs profit, true, but most is stolen and the people are left with nothing. Man. Again, truly impressed with how hard these guys work. I've worked hard in my life, but eventually my life improved and although I still had to work, it wasn't like this. I think most westerners could agree how soft we have become, and how easy we have it.

It really shows the harsh reality behind oil production in Nigeria — how something so valuable can still leave local communities struggling. The dangerous roads, the environmental damage, and the daily risks people take just to survive were honestly hard to watch. It makes you realize that behind every resource we use, there are real human stories and sacrifices. Powerful documentary. Raw, emotional, and very important. It definitely makes you think differently about black gold.
