Delete browser extension sync on Chrome

Hi - I use my Google account at university and love the ability to sync bookmarks etc... but I have a lot of extensions on my personal account which I only really use on my personal computer. It leads to a lot of popups when I try to sign in and it's really annoying. I've disabled extension sync on my laptop but it still happens... can anyone let me know how to remove these without manually disabling it every time I log in to a new computer?

Well, one option would be not to sync extensions into https://chrome.google.com/sync to begin with.

Perhaps a safer option would be to use different accounts

for your personal use and university use.

Does the university use shared/guest logins on their computers,

or can everyone only login with their own account into

a roaming profile - negating the need to delete your profile

everytime you login to a new computer?
