Exact same scenario for us—2-story on a hill overlooking our backyard. Neighbors for 22 years—they’re retired and we respect them greatly, so I texted them (wanted to have a record) a VERY polite email asking whether it would offend them, and stating that we wouldn’t be nude if they had company/grandkids over, and they replied to knock ourselves out. Removed any stress over the situation.

We enjoy it and prefer to stay towards the south end of the nude section. Was our first socially nude experience years ago and we’ve been social nudists ever since, having visited many resorts/campgrounds.

Hahaha, that will be the extent of our physical exertion, I’m afraid 😂

We were in a 39th floor corner room at the Marriott on Canal St and it provided a great view down Canal and across the river, but there were a handful around us that exceed 50 floors

San Antonio was the flight for us, fortunately New Orleans is only a 3-4 hour drive.

Been a busy spring of work trips and graduations—we usually just visit nudist campgrounds near home on weekends.

I’ve owned this one a few years and we use it at least 3 nights per week. A little but of a learning curve from grilling, but once it is good and seasoned it’s quick to prep and clean up.

At an out-of-town resort, a couple said “hey, we recognize you guys!” I said yes, we had seen them at the resort two weeks prior. Husband said “no, from the gym!” (in our hometown). We laughed about it but when we looked each other up on FB, we realized we also had at least 150 “mutual friends” 😳. Small world!

We bounce around a few resorts here in FL and are eager to stretch out further as time and circumstances allow. We have a pretty good number of couples we’re friends with at the communities/campgrounds, and yes, a number of family members know (while a number definitely do NOT lol). By and large, the nudist community is the most welcoming, nonjudgmental group of people I’ve ever met.

Agree 100%, except we have always chosen trailers so we don’t have to deal with a seldomly-used engine/drivetrain. Otherwise our favorite pastime of the last 17 years 🙏🏻

Outside of resorts/campgrounds that bring enthusiasts together, it’s TOUGH. We’ve been nudists for years and are still shocked how it can feel so normal at such places and yet absolutely foreign when we step back into everyday life. Keep making the effort though and maybe you’ll have a breakthrough.

I can’t even with a person whose nose has been altered—if I have to live with a big one then so do they 😂. Or are we just picking and choosing the procedures that we judge?

My wife and I are nudist resort members and we don’t, so don’t feel that you need to. We just both have a very vintage aesthetic when it comes to personal taste.

I’m glad you touched on multi-ethnic because that should be an even broader goal than just multi-generational. Maintaining core values while creating relevance is a tough balancing act, and it usually requires longtime respected influencers who are willing to sacrifice some degree of personal comfort for the sake of those to come. No different than country clubs, vintage car clubs, etc—same predicaments.

You may consider this crazy, but the entire opening post is EXACTLY what mainline Protestant churches have been debating and struggling to mitigate effectively for the past two decades (if not longer). Regardless of your feelings on religion, a study of the methods utilized by the ones that successfully attracted younger generations versus the ones who finally (and literally) died off could provide very relevant data.
