We need to remember that the Fanverse is not a job for the developers to complete. We were not just given funding - we were given access to the FNAF IP, to make money from it, with a massive amount of creative freedom. THAT is the main privilege of the deal, innit.
Scott's funding is mostly seen as a reward for what we had already contributed to the FNAF community. It obviously helped kick-start the Fanverse projects, but it's not like Scott said "Please make POPGOES Evergreen - here's money to do that." It was more like "If you want to make POPGOES Evergreen, you can make money from it now. Also, here's something to help."
I'm not complaining about a lack of support here. I'm just saying, the Fanverse titles are still very much indie in nature and we are NOTHING like a Steel Wool or Mega Cat project. This is a gift from Scott, not an investment.
