Oel ngat kameie, ma smukan si smuke!

This guide was created right after completing the main story, while I was still deeply amazed by the game. This walkthrough will not only help you survive but also collect all achievements, allowing you to become a true protector of Eywa. Here, we will break down every single achievement (including all DLCs).

As a massive fan of the Avatar universe, I have integrated my personal experience, tips, and fascinating behind-the-scenes movie facts into the achievement explanations. At the very end, I will share my thoughts on the game, its trophies, and the films. Get comfortable, and let's begin!

Interesting fact!
In most large animals of Pandora (including ikrans and thanators), the teeth are made not of calcium like ours, but of an obsidian-like organic glass. They are incredibly sharp but brittle, so the teeth of predators are constantly renewed, like a conveyor belt in sharks.
ㅤㅤㅤExploration & Collectibles p.1
Name: Talk to the Ancestors
Essence: Unlock three Ancestor Skills.

Find the large flower on the map, approach it, and activate it, repeating this process three times.
There are 12 of them in the game.
Map[mapgenie.io] with all items

Examples from the game

Name: Full Bloom
Essence: Touch 20 Bellsprings.

There are a huge number of them in the game (160 of them), with about 3 appearing at large bases (after they've been cleared). Otherwise, they're scattered all over the map.
MAP[mapgenie.io]with all items

Example from the game

Name: Sprouting Potential
Essence: Touch 20 tarsyu saplings.

There are also a lot of them in the game, but not as many as the spore-bearing ones (51). There's also an Ancestor skill that speeds up the search for tarsyu.
MAP[mapgenie.io]with all items

Example from the game

Name: Vision of the Ancestor
Essence: Complete all Sarentu totem interactions.

There are 13 totems in the game, one of which will be encountered during the story. The correct vantage point looks like a circle of branches lying on the ground. They are often located 100-170 meters from the totem itself.
MAP[mapgenie.io]with all items
Totems from DLC don't count!

Example from the game

Name: Tethered Kites
Essence: Collect all windswept kites.

This mission is only available in the second region (Upper Plains).
The kites are located high in the mountains, so Ikran is essential.
There are nine kites in the game.
MAP[mapgenie.io]with all items

Example from the game P.S. There is no kite because it is already assembled

Name: Data Retriever
Essence: Collect all intelligence.

There are nine stations in the game, each with three sensors. Use the SAM's crosshair (key 5 on the keyboard) to navigate. The smaller the crosshair, the closer you are to the sensor (not the station!).
Wind turbines are the easiest to spot; they're the tallest and move.
MAP[mapgenie.io]with all items

An example of a location from the game

Name: A Good Listener
Essence: Collect 30 audio logs.

There are 50 audio logs in the game, most of which are located in shelters and field labs, as well as destroyed RDA bases. Personally, I had trouble finding them due to my lack of attention, but you can do it!
You can track the number of notes in the Journal tab, then "Audio Logs."
MAP[mapgenie.io]with all items

Name: Story Guardian
Essence: Collect 30 notes.

There are 56 notes in the game, most of which are found in shelters, after destroying RDA bases, and in field labs. You can track the number of notes in the Journal tab, then "Notes."
MAP[mapgenie.io]with all items

ㅤㅤㅤExploration & Collectibles p.2
Name: Father and Son in the Stars
Essence: Collect all treasure hunt comics.

Tasks appear immediately after activating the terminals; there are 10 of them in total.
After finding all 10 pages, a final task appears: finding page 11.

I had trouble finding page 9 (there was no task), but with the help of the interactive map, I managed it. If you're having the same problem, don't worry; we can find page 9 without any task, and the mission continues as if nothing happened. :)
All terminals are located in special trailers; they're hard to find because they're often covered in greenery.
MAP[mapgenie.io]with all items

Example of a location from the game

Name: In Harmony
Essence: Tune all aeolian wind flutes.

There are 17 flutes in the game, four of which you'll craft during the "Gulch of Weeping" quest.
All flutes are found in the second region (Upper Plains).
DLC flutes don't count.
MAP[mapgenie.io]with all items

Example of a flute from the game

Name: Doll Collector
Essence: Collect all windswept dolls.

All the dolls are scattered in stumps or hollow trunks of large trees (sometimes in rocks/cliffs/caves).
Only available in Region 3 (Misty Forest).
There are a total of 9 Windblown Kam'tir Dolls in the game.
MAP[mapgenie.io]with all items

Interesting fact!
Data Volume: Creating the visual effects for Avatar: The Way of Water required storing 18.5 petabytes of data. For comparison, the first film "only" required 1 petabyte. One petabyte (PB) contains 1024 terabytes (TB).
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤCombat & Ecology
Name: Hit Them Where It Hurts
Essence: Defeat five RDA outposts.

Large bases with turrets, large areas, large buildings, and increased numbers of soldiers. Once captured, you'll be teleported to the base entrance, where resources and the RDA duty schedule await, along with notes and audio logs. Reinforcements can be called in.
There are 57 RDA structures in the game.
You'll need to destroy all the bases to earn the achievement for 100% air purification.

Example of locations from the game

Name: Little by Little
Essence: Defeat 10 RDA installations.

Outposts are small, have far fewer guards than bases, no turrets, are small in size, and don't have many buildings. Reinforcements cannot be called in. Resources are also scarce.
There are 57 RDA structures in the game.
You'll need to destroy all outposts to earn the achievement for 100% air purification.

Example of locations from the game

Name: Reclaim Pandora
Essence: Reach an air quality level of 100%.

This achievement will take a long time to complete, but I managed to get it after completing the main campaign (you'll also need to destroy the Omega Drilling Rig). You'll need to destroy all 57 bases/outposts. You can monitor air quality at both main bases and field labs. Contaminated areas are shown as a brown/rusty color on the map.

Examples of laboratories from the game

Name: No easy prey
Essence: Defeat a thanator (non-feral).

As soon as white fog appears at the edges of your screen, you've found a Thanator! You'll also hear your heartbeat (the faster it beats, the closer the Thanator is), but you won't be able to use your senses. They're hard to kill and can climb any height. However, they do drop rare resources ;)
There are five main types (subtypes) of wild Thanators in the game.

1)A common thanator.
Can only be found near the Mentor's River, south of the Gossamer Pools in the northwestern part of the Moth Forest.

2)Mountain Thanator.
Can only be found south of Captive Lake in the center of the Overhanging Rocks region in the northeast of the Misty Forest.

3)Thanator of the White Moss Forest.
Found only northeast of the River Rezchik in the center of the Bayun Pines in the eastern Misty Forest.

4)Swamp Thanator.
Can only be found on Coil Island in the southern part of the Silk Forest.

5)Thanator of the Petrified Forest.
Found only in the Heart of the Prairies, where it hides among the petrified trunks of the ancient forest.

Interesting fact!
In the first film, the biggest challenge was the light in the eyes. Cameron demanded that the avatars' pupils dilate and contract depending on the brightness of the virtual sun. The programmers had to write separate software just to simulate the irises.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤSkills & Progression
Name: Becoming Na'Vi
Essence: Unlock 3 skills in each skill tree.

Skill points are awarded for completing quests (either side or main). Skill points can also be obtained by interacting with Tarsyu sprouts. Once you've accumulated enough points, upgrade three skills in each skill tree.

This is what she looks like

Name: Peak Performance
Essence: Unlock an Apex Skill.

Each of the five skill trees has a special skill. You'll receive it after unlocking all the skills in the tree and completing the quest to unlock it. To find out what the quest requires, look in the quest tab or hover over the skill itself in the tree. One Transcendence skill is enough to achieve this.

Example from the game

Name: One with the Clans
Essence: Complete part 3 of the "Aranhe Community", "Zeswa Community", and "Kame'tire Community" side quests.

You'll find many settlements belonging to different clans throughout the map, and each settlement has its own donation basket. To find out what a settlement needs, you'll need to interact with the basket, and it will tell you what it needs. It's a rather tedious task, as you have to find ingredients for cooking and crafting equipment, and then craft that equipment and food. After you've looked in the basket, the task for what you need to bring will appear in the "Tasks" tab, then "Donations for the clan."
There are 73 clan settlements in the game.

Everything needed for Aranahe settlements

Everything needed for Zeswa settlements

Everything needed for Kam'tire settlements

Examples of clan settlements

An example of what the basket looks like

Name: Wildlife Expert
Essence: Unlock 20 Hunter's Guide entries for gatherable wildlife.

This is the easiest achievement; to complete it, you'll need Na'vi senses (the x key by default) and the examine key (the mouse wheel by default).
Specifically, this achievement requires examining fauna (animals).
I discovered 225 of the 259 plants and animals in the entire game :)

Name: Great Gatherer
Essence: Unlock 30 Hunter's Guide entries for gatherable plants.

To complete this achievement, we'll need Na'vi Sense (the x key by default) and the examine key (the mouse wheel by default).
Specifically, this achievement requires examining flora (plants).

Interesting fact!
The Na'vi's digital skin model incorporates a subsurface scattering (SSS) layer that mimics the skin structure of dolphins and whales rather than human skin. This is why they look "correct" in the jungle, and underwater, their skin isn't just blue; it's slightly translucent and changes hue depending on how deep the blood flows beneath it.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤCrafting & Activities
Name: Apprentice Crafter
Essence: Craft a weapon or gear piece of 'superior' rarity or higher.

In the main clan settlements, there are craftsmen willing to share blueprints for various weapons and armor with you. Blueprints are also awarded for completing quests. To craft something, you'll need a workbench (found in every settlement) and crafting materials. Find materials of the required quality in the Hunter's Guide.

Example of crafting an item on a workbench

Name: Kinglor Carer
Essence: Complete the final Steady Wings side quest.

The "New Nest" quest is given by Etoa. To add it to your list, you must complete the 13th main mission, "Displacement." After this, the eastern regions of the Moth Forest will become free.
There are three quests in total. Only for the first region (Moth Forest).
The main difficulty is not losing the queen.
The queen has a stress meter. If it fills up (from running, jumping, or falling), the moth will return to the Tree, and you'll have to start over. You cannot swim, fight, or fly the crane while you have the queen.

An example of where to bring the queen

Name: Mushroom Navigator
Essence: Complete 10 Mycelium Network activities.

The quest is only available for Region 3 (Misty Forest).
There are 9 mushrooms in the game, and you need to open 10 for the quest ;)
However, opened mushrooms close after a while and can be opened again.
To open a large mushroom, you need to follow the mushroom path and activate a small mushroom; there are only 4 small mushrooms for each large mushroom.
Map with all the Mushrooms[mapgenie.io]

Example of mushrooms

Name: Fleet Footed
Essence: Follow all the bladewing moths to their nests.

There are 11 locations in the game where Razorwings live. After you activate their nest, a few insects will fly out. You need to follow them and keep up, as if you don't keep up, they'll fly away and you'll have to start over.
The bugs will lead you to a plant that grows a "Sneakberry."
Sneakberries from the DLC don't count!
Places of all sharpwings[mapgenie.io]

Example of a sharp-winged bat nest

Name: Cooking Pot Pro
Essence: Unlock three recipes for specialty dishes.

You can get it by completing tasks, and if a dish is needed for a donation, the recipe will be added automatically.

Interesting fact!
For "The Path of Water," Pandora's botanical landscape was made interactive. Plants were programmed in the game engine to react to sound waves generated by the actors' movements. If an actor swam past, the digital algae would sway not according to a pre-programmed animation, but rather according to a physical simulation of water currents "driven" by the actor's sensor.
✧▬▬🏹 DLC: The Sky Breaker 🌪▬▬✧
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤStory Achievements
Name: Migration
Essence: Complete the quest When the Zakru Walk.

Can't be missed if you're beating the game :)

Name: Rain of Fire
Essence: Complete the quest The Sky Breaker.

Also impossible to miss if you progress through the story.

Name: End Song
Essence: Complete the quest The Bitter End.

The final story achievement in this DLC.

Interesting fact!
Linguist Paul Frommer (the creator of the Na'vi language) was constantly present during filming. If an actor confused the stress or mispronounced the "p" sound (which is almost nonexistent in the language), filming was stopped. The actors had to learn not just words, but the logic of thought, so that their intonations would sound natural to creatures without specific consonants in their alphabet.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤResearch & Crafting
Name: Legendary Artisan
Essence: Craft a weapon or gear piece of legendary rarity.

It's very similar to the "Beginner Master" achievement, but in this case, the recipe needs to be legendary (something like a turquoise color), and the materials also need to be legendary.

Name: Resistance Researcher
Essence: Activate all Resistance Research Points.

There are a total of four field labs in the game (including expansions) that need to be found.
To obtain them, you must not only unlock all the research stations, but also complete the quest "Research in the Heart of the Land."
Find the four stations.
Turn on the power at each one.
Answer the call at each one.
Donate 10 spare parts at each one.
!!! I'll add photos and detailed descriptions of the locations later!!!

Interesting fact!
All human buildings on Pandora have rounded corners and reinforced insulation not only from the toxic air, but also from the powerful electromagnetic radiation of the giant planet Polyphemus, which can fry unprotected electronics.
⏺─🏔️DLC Secrets of the Spires☁️─⏺
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤStory Achievements
Name: No easy path
Essence: Complete the quest Skybound.

If you progress through the story, you will easily get this achievement.

Name: Reconnection
Essence: Complete the quest Into the Mountain.

Follow the story and the achievement is yours!

Name: A New Future
Essence: Complete the quest The Fight for Home.

Complete the DLC and it's yours!

Interesting fact!
On the first day of filming "The Path of Water," actor Cliff Curtis (Chief Tonowari) performed an authentic Haka dance with 42 members of his family to bless the crew and the project.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤSkills and Ikran
Name: Lifelong Learner
Essence: Unlock all skills in the Memories of the Sky Hunter skill tree.

You must unlock all skills added to the "Memories" branch in the "Sky Hunter" DLC.
Some players have reported that the achievement may not unlock if skills are partially unlocked outside of the DLC area, so it's best to learn all 11 skills at once without switching to the main game.

I'll add a photo later!

Name: Unstoppable
Essence: Smash 20 Objects with the Ikran Smash Skill.

First, unlock the "Ikran Strike" skill in the skill tree.
Find targets; the best ones for this are:
Dawn Lanterns: Flying plants often found along rivers.
RDA Containers: Seagoing cargo containers containing gear, scattered throughout outposts and the world.
Balloons: RDA objects in the air.
Obstacles: Branches in caves or small vehicles (although plants and crates are easiest to destroy).
You'll destroy some of the objects naturally as you progress through the story (about 15 of them), so the achievement can easily be completed in free roam by simply flying through lanterns or breaking RDA crates.

I'll add a photo later!
Interesting fact!
In the original script and expanded RDA lore, the Avatar project was created not for diplomacy, but as a publicity campaign. The corporation needed to show Earth "peaceful exploration" to justify the enormous government subsidies for unobtainium mining.
🔸──💥 DLC: From the Ashes 🔥──🔸
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤStory & Progression
Name: Out of Body Experience
Essence: Import your custom Sarentu character from Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

After we start playing this DLC, we'll be asked to select an old save from the main game. Select it, and the achievement is ours.

I'll add a photo later!

Name: Path of Tremey
Essence: Unlocked while playing through quests.

Play this DLC and you will get this achievement soon!

Name: Return to Eywa
Essence: Defeat the leaders of the Mangkwan warband: Rakx, Zari, Ka'sem, and Wukula.

Quietly, slowly, move forward and eliminate the leaders! This is a story-related achievement, so don't miss it!

Name: We See You
Essence: Complete all From the Ashes content to 100%: Save Your People and Sabotage RDA Operations.

Complete the expansion's storyline 100% (all side missions). Also, all bases and outposts!

Interesting fact!
Although the water in the film is azure, on set it was painted dark blue/black and filled with marbles to prevent the infrared motion capture sensors from picking up reflections from the bottom. This created the effect of an "endless abyss" for the actors, helping them portray fear.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤCombat & Gathering
Name: First of Many
Essence: Perform a stealth finisher.

Well, technically, it can be done at any time. Just approach the UMP from behind and perform the finishing move.

Name: In Case of Emergency, Break Glass
Essence: Eliminate 50 AMP Suits using the "One Shot" skill.

It's important to look for UMPs without glass protection; otherwise (if you don't kill it on the first shot), the kill won't count towards the achievement.
You need to shoot the pilot and nothing else!!!
You'll need the "One Shot" skill.
Find UMPs without glass protection; it's best to find 50 of them.
It's best to use a heavy bow with armor-piercing arrows.
If you didn't get the achievement on your first playthrough, restarting the DLC is one of the quickest ways to get it!

Name: Eywa's Blessing
Essence: Find and collect all Zeykoma Fruit.

Hint for Zeykoma lilies[powerpyx.com]
One useful tip I can recommend is using your Na'vi senses.
Search carefully.
Six lilies become available after completing the quest "Blessing." Two more become available after completing the quest "The Beast" and gaining access to the Rifts.

Name: Fashion Foward
Essence: Unlock all gear sets in From the Ashes.

Most gear will be obtained through the main story, but some items will be upgraded in Chronos or at RDA bases. Hovering over missing items will reveal tooltips with their locations.

Interesting fact!
The human ship is so powerful that its engines can incinerate an area the size of a small city upon landing. It uses the energy of matter-antimatter annihilation, and a mirror shield in front protects it from micro-grains of sand, which, at a speed of 0.7c, turn into atomic bombs.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤSpecific Actions
Name: Just Like You Remember It
Essence: Use a Dapophet pod to heal.

1) Find a tree with a dapofet.
2) Pick the dapofet.
3) Take some damage.
4) Press the "I" key on your keyboard.
5) Earn the achievement!

Name: You Never Stood A Chance
Essence: Lose the race to the Sarentu.

This event occurs at the very beginning of the "From the Ashes" DLC storyline. You'll need to participate in an Ikran race as part of the "Welcome Home" mission, heading to Hometree. Once the race begins, intentionally let other Sarenth get ahead of you. Simply fly slowly or pause until the other competitors cross the finish line first. The achievement will unlock automatically upon completing the race.

Name: Unexpected Friends
Essence: Soothe the Fireback Mastodon hiding in the Ravines.

First, you need to progress through the DLC's storyline to the "Family Ties" quest. Only then will you gain access to the Rifts region.
The Mastodon is located in the eastern part of the Rifts region, near the Service Outpost Bravo point of interest.
What to do?
1) Find the Mastodon in the indicated area (it will be hiding).
2) Approach it slowly and use the pacify mechanic (default key: E on PC).
3) Wait for the short cutscene to end, after which the achievement will unlock.

Interesting fact!
To film "The Path of Water," the crew completed approximately 200,000 underwater dives, officially making this project the most complex "water" film in history.
ㅤㅤ💭 Thoughts & Opinions ⚖
Let's start with the game!

The game is amazing. Not only visual, but also different mechanics that I have not seen before in games. Although my computer is powerful enough, I hardly play AAA projects, somehow I don't feel like them, and that's it (I don't know what it's related to). But this game exceeded my expectations, everything is perfect in it: collecting items, dialogues, crafting, moving, graphics, fighting, flair, skills and much more.

I especially liked collecting items, you need to drag the mouse in the right direction to collect the perfect fruit, otherwise you will get it with the worst quality!
The dialogues are straight with an accent on 'vi, and it just takes my soul away.
In crafting, you need items of varying rarity, without them you will not be able to make perfect armor or weapons.
When you move, it feels like you're not just playing as a human, but as a na'vi with a height of under 3 meters.
Graphics are a mess, well, such a world can hardly be done badly, but still, it looks especially great at night!
During skirmishes, you can feel the dynamics of the battle, especially when riding on the screen fighting with the people below! The shooting is done pleasantly, especially pleasing is that when crafting new weapons (or armor)it changes visually, because of this you can make such beautiful outfits;)
It's also interesting about skills, but they don't change the game dramatically, so there's nothing to say.
I liked cooking, I hardly know any games in which cooking would look like this!
Another thing I really liked was the hunter's guide, where (speaking as a fan of the movie) you can learn more about this or that creature from the movie, or find out what it is called in the Na'vi language.

Speaking of the movie. I have a couple of friends (or maybe not so many) who hate everything related to the avatar universe in every possible way, reinforcing this with the fact that Yubisoft do not know how to make games, do not understand at all who is playing this "♥♥♥♥♥♥", they suck out the same mechanics from year to year that all games are like Far Edge, etc. in that spirit. That the films are too pretentious and unrealistic, I don't like the drawing, the plot. I strongly disagree with this, I liked the films (I'll start a review counter here, I'll change it over time) everything is fine in the first part: A visual breakthrough that changed cinema. The plot is simple, but Pandora's world and the immersive effect make it an immortal classic. The second part: The picture has become even more perfect, and the water looks more real than the real one. The plot has become more family-friendly and intimate, but the scale and final action are still amazing. The third part is also not bad, but it seemed very similar to the second part. But plot twists, the scale of events, the colorfulness of the pictures and the interactions of the characters take their toll. In general, the taste and color of a friend... But some couch critics are ready to sit and ♥♥♥♥ (they haven't watched these films), so the situation turns out to be twofold...

The whole universe created by James Cameron is very good. I don't like films that are related to our planet (well, that is, like breaking bad, diamond policeman, and similar films), it's more interesting to see something extraterrestrial, unprecedented, alien (which Cameron can do) when watching the film, I want to be on Pandora (by the way, there is even this is a disorder based on the fact that nature is more beautiful and better on Pandora, and you want to be there, and it's called "Avatar depression syndrome").
In general, the films are great, don't listen to anyone who dissuades you, watch whatever your heart desires. Your right is your choice! Oel ngat kameie!

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ🏁 Conclusion 📜
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is the best way to personally experience the story James Cameron began in the films. The in-game achievements not only satisfy your ego but also force you to truly explore each biome, from roots to clouds.

Completing this journey 100% means becoming a true Sarentu!

Thank you for using my guide! I hope it saved you time, I hope you learned something new, and I hope it helped you achieve that coveted "Perfect Game." See you on Pandora!
