The origins of my name, Kina.
Originally I created an online name called Kyelxo, it was such a long time ago that I used to go by this when I was like 12.
The reason why I made my name to be so weird was to hide the feminine side of it,
Originally it was meant to be pronounced as Keylo, based off the name Filo and my own mix to it, but it sounded feminine so I wanted to hide it, so I mixed the Key with Kye and Lxo where the X was silent as a weeb culture thing,
So what ended up happening is that I made my name too confusing to pronounce so people just straight up started to call me Kye, and I ended up using that name in both my irl and online life for many many years, to the point where I was used to it.
Eventually I tried out a few different names to fit my alter ego and then slowly I used other names away from my main acc..
Then eventually I came out as trans and I was trying to decide on a name I would use irl, and that’s when I decided on Kina.
It was just so cute and a unique name so I went for it!
