The french dont want to ban AC, they are just angry about the people with AC, who say climat-change dont exist during the heatwave, or back in my time we work 20h hours a day under 70c.

How tf did you see this and arrive at the conclusion that AC is far-right??????
It seems to be a right wing thing right now saying "we are the only ones who will say that air conditioning is a good thing! The left will criticise you endlessly for it!"
When the left in reality is saying pretty much nothing about it, if you want to get air conditioning then go ahead. It's another example of the right wing making up things to be annoyed at.
It's kind of insane to me that Air Conditioning is somehow a controversy lol.
You might wanna stop copying far right propaganda that the far right are the ones that are pro air conditioning when they were the ones denying any climate changes for centuries thus making them needed in the first place.

It’s the same in Germany. Here, you’re considered ‘right-wing’ if you want air conditioning. You’re also labelled a ‘climate change denier’, and people say you’re ‘heating up the planet’ with air conditioning. They all mean this completely seriously.
Incidentally, it’s also brilliant at the European Commission headquarters: on floors 1–7, you’re allowed to sweat. On floors 8–13, there’s air conditioning – that’s where the EU Commissioners and Commission President von der Leyen sit.

What? All forum posts I saw regarding the heat wave (and also talking to real people) talked about how people would love to get an AC now but couldn’t due to stuff being sold out/landlords blocking it.
Nobody in those threads/conversations said “You want AC? You surely vote AfD”.
Before the heatwave people were looked at funny for getting AC, yes, but that was mostly because it wasn’t necessary, not because it was associated with politics.
