This is something you are aware of already because there have been talks and implementations in some countries about global identity verification and global ban on use of VPN. It is bound to become a universal practice within the next few months among all the major countries. Would it affect this forum, or others?

The structure here is different from the trend of increasingly stringent digital identity rules being introduced all over the world. In today’s world, governments such as the European Union (eIDAS), the UK (Online Safety Act), and Australia are proposing to impose more stringent rules regarding identity verification for some services. According to ProBoards, it uses its own legal team to abide by the rules, which are mostly done internally in the system itself. This means that there will be no such state-imposed identity verification as you pointed out.
