They subvert the old stuff in their perception. Literally seeing things when there are none. And then birate you for rejecting their misconstrued understanding. Up to the point of claiming that they understand the media they're viewing better than the creator. In their mind, something cannot exist without constantly changing to match THEIR current sensibilities. Be it a recently built coffee shop or a 300 year old manuscript, or a 20 year old cartoon.

I'll get a little philosophical; What I'll describe is a common problem, but we see liberals suffer from it the most - they mistake their thoughts about an object as the object itself (We call this a misonception). And then their whole thought process is based on said misconception. We humans cannot percieve an object in reality as it is right away, we all have a perspective, but what saves us all is our ability to come to a common view of the phenomenon we observe (Everyone agrees that water is wet, if water is wet to you - you understand the concept of water). This is usually fixed with logic, but liberals reject it and try to make REALITY match to THEIR ideas.

On the topic of MLAATR - I think the show was kind of geared toward asocial and busy kids. Maybe some other Kiwis will relate to this - but it's that feeling of being tired after many activities, and then looking outside, seeing your peers having fun, while you don't have the energy to join them anymore. When you get a lot of responsibilities dropped on you early on, you feel like you're not actually being a teenager. Jenny is going exactly through that in the show - I don't know how that can be interpreted as "struggles with gender identity".

Best they can argue is that immigration services ignored her condition, but even that feels like the same flimsy nonsense you see here in the States to claim that a chronically-ill wetback biting it in holding was actually ICE murdering them by neglect.

What strikes me as odd, literal clown world shit, is that Isreal Degenerates where proudly announcing their soldiers love the cock while bombing the shit out of kids in sandals. Also the pride flag with the black and brown stripes baffles me. Like, nigga, I was born brown. A rabbi didn't fiddle me into being brown. Nor do I have any sort of pride of not being white lol.
