I already moved on it was 5 years ago like i said, but its hard to see that in 5 years VAC doesnt get more evolved, its the thing that you get banned forever but just can create a new account with the same IP and just spend 5 dollar and then you can continue to cheat that sounds to me more like a problem

Being able to create a new account doesn't mean it has ANYTHING to do with VAC or how it works. People that keep cheating tend to get banned over and over again.

VAC has evolved a lot in recent years but one thing has always been the same for 14 years - skin changers are bannable by the nature of how they function. The fact you didn't even research this with the thousands of threads already available is crazy really.

The program works exactly like a cheat, there is no reason to differentiate as it is NOT allowed.

In a World with AI its not hard to diffrentiate between cosmetic file temper and actually cheating, there still should be Bans but not permenants, most people who use or used them didnt do it to get an adventage which they didnt get, We can compare at with the real life we dont get the same punishment if we steal a chewing gum or if we steal a car its still the same crime but the extent of it is total diffrent story

the definition of cheating is that everything that gives you an advantage over other players is cheating thats also my definition

IP bans are the weakest because all you have to do is reset your router. This isn't 2005.

Because it actually DOES NOT work. IP bans can be spoofed and this concept has been beaten to a pulp in this forum, use the search function.

Well we have hardware bans to but acc bans are one of the weakest if you can just create a new one in 2 minutes and start cheating again thats why cs go has such a big cheater base and other games simply dont have it that big

If we look at Valorants anti cheat hardware bans actually do work in valorant not only your account but also your hardware gets banned you cant spoof around that you either need to buy most of you pc new or you staying banned

and new accounts get created someone who gets banned for skin changing could be angry creates a new account and rage cheats temp bans show the user he did something his skins and account isnt completely gone so he still has something to lose, and in the future wont do the same thing, when it comes to actually cheating there shouldnt be any temp bans if your cheating you already have nothing to lose because you know you get banned
